@transparentenigma It is more slack because you have lost fat and have more muscle. You have lost bad weight and gained good-fat-burning muscle weight!!!3

I love reading everyone's NSVs!!!
@SummerSkier I echo your joy at being able to get vaccinated for the Sars-2 virus. It allows our children and grandchildren to give us 'guilt-free' hugs. We took hugs for granted, but not anymore! That is an NSV worth celebrating.

I didn't post yesterday, so I'll put both here:
Exercise? Yes- yesterday was active recovery (stretching). Today was lower body strength. 30-40 min each.
Calories? Yes, barely under each day. But only set at .5 loss per week.
Logged: yes.
NSV: I have more energy on my better eating days, and since I haven't been drinking pop.4 -

I feel so sad for you @lesdarts and also for your DIL and grandchildren. I know it must be devastating for all of you.

I am in a smaller size this month. I have been wearing a belt with the larger sizes as I drop weight and will have to switch to a smaller belt soon.
Even though I have been adding muscle mass this month, I have managed to drop a pound. I know I am stronger because my balance is better, I move differently and more confidently. It is hard to put into words. It just feels different and I love it.
I am looking forward to gardening!8 -

My post for 3-15 all three accomplished.
My NSV this month is hopefully getting my dad back home from his surgery last week.
However I have been able to maintain a fair amount of normal with all the ups and downs of the month from a co worker passing away to the surgery mix in a little pandemic and hey it keeps it “interesting” but I have noticed jeans are looser and I feel better overall best of luck to all for the remainder of March7 -

3rd pass day today - got the exercise but didn't track so don't know my calories.
Last week was really horrible, my son taken into hospital on Tuesday after a fall and kept in for observation and medication adjustment. The consultant review on Thursday came back with a dreadful revised prognosis. We probably only have a few weeks left with him. He is still in hospital - can't come home until a hospital bed and various other provisions are put in place. I spent the weekend with my daughter in law and the children. Hope to go back again when he is home. No one is allowed to visit (Covid precautions) but we have had a few phone calls, and a face-time call.
NSVs are beyond me just now. Getting through the day.
@lesdarts180 I'm so sorry to hear this news about your son. I'll keep him and the family (including YOU) in my prayers. 🙏

@TerriRichardson112 This is terrific news! Can I ask what scale do you have? I'm just wondering how does the scale know muscle mass % from body fat %? I think I'd like to get one of those scales!1 -

My NSV's: Earlier this week I purchased some new spring clothes in a smaller size (also an Easter outfit!) I also remembered that I have quite a few "new" clothes in a spring/summer tote (stored away) that I purchased in 2018 when I lost almost 60 lbs. I wore them a few times (it was the end of summer) and then packed them away for winter. By the next spring I had gained a large portion of my weight back so I couldn't wear them.
I'm EXCITED to be able to get them out - they will be LIKE NEW!!! And THIS TIME, I'm NOT going to gain any of my weight back again!!9 -
I’ve been thinking all day what my NSV is, thinking I didn’t have any, which of course isn’t really true. And then I realized that I have a box of Girl Scout cookies that have been sitting here unopened for probably TWO months! Unheard of for me. And there have been a few times I’ve wanted something sweet and still managed to leave the box alone simply because I don’t want to use up precious calories on them! I’m taking grandkids to a state park on Saturday for hiking and a picnic. Maybe I’ll pack them and get rid of them that way.9

Yes, yes and yes
AM Walking, 10 min HIIT, 10 min yoga and 10 min stretching
I forgot about it being NSV day. I had to think about this for some time. I think would say I feel 'in balance' or am experiencing moments of 'being in balance' after a very very long time of feeling out of balance.4 -
Calories: N over by a few hundred
Exercise: N switching back to days from nights and couldn’t find the motivation (historically never much of a productive day for me)

This is my scale. The label is on the bottom of the scale.
I treated myself to this analyser scale when I hit my 40 lb goal. You can program it with age/ gender/height/activity level for up to 6 people. It automatically identifies the user and displays weight, then cycles through the other stats. It weighs in either kg/lbs, and analyses body fat, water, and muscle %age, and bone weight. It gives your BMI and Recommended TDEE (daily calories)
