Tomorrow, I'll post our April UAC signup link.
Its hard to believe that we are in the latter part of March 2021.
For me, one of the big changes in the last month has been the increasing good news that not only UAC team members but also friends and family are getting the Covid vaccines. Much better news than the last 12 months.
Bless you each and every one of you!!15 -

3 x Yes. Exercise a bit minimal, only 20 minutes walking, but stayed under calories, even though the food was delicious. Tracked everything. Trying out different strategies with my partner, who suffers from Alzheimer's, which seem to be working so far ... Makes me feel better too!5

I had a lot of catching up to do! I missed checking in a couple days and then got so far behind I knew it would take awhile to read everything and get caught up.
@lesdarts180 - how my heart breaks for you and your beautiful family. Sometimes life doesn't make any sense, does it.
@alligatorob - that fish was as big as you!!!! What a thrill that must have been.
@donna25trinity - congrats on reaching your goal! That is a monumental achievement and something to be proud of! Your comment about how to do maintenance reminded me of one of the "Half Size Me" podcasts I listened to this week. She talked about the reason so many people gain their weight loss back is because they never learned how to maintain. All these "diets" we've done through the years, focus on losing the weight, with precious little attention on how to stay there. YOU are going to be a success story because you have US!!! Well, and your own determination and good habits.
@RangerRickL - so glad you could get away and celebrate your daughter's birthday. Having the shots definitely opens up possibilities.
I did have one pass day this week so I'm up to 3.4 -

Bike ride this morning – about 45 minutes – and a short walk this afternoon with my sister and boyfriend.
Lunch with my mum, sister and boyfriend but don’t tell the police, it’s against our lockdown rules. But necessary right now for support and comfort.
Tracked my food and drink, calories too low, may have another snack before bed.
My daughter posted a lovely poem on her facebook page which describes my lovely caring and thoughtful son.

Oh no, you tricked me into it, too 🙂.
Today I am also again under (after a hike in the snow and a quick HIIT) and staying strong, even if hungry again. 🤷♀️ No pass so far. ✌4 -

Today was a big day. When I stepped on the scale this morning, I saw a smaller number between my toes than I have since 2014.
I know the number on the scale is only one way of measuring progress, but it's an important one for me because it means I didn't give up on myself this time. Just a few weeks ago, I was ready to quit the UAC (and MFP altogether) because my progress hadn't been as perfect as I wanted it to be. But this terrific community offered me the grace and encouragement that I couldn't offer myself, so I was able to keep going.
And here I am. Not making perfect progress, but at my first goal nevertheless. Thank you so much to everyone who encouraged me to keep moving forward!15 -
Congrats @pamjsa! Progress is never perfect - but it is still progress! Good for you.

March 21:
Exercise: Yes! 16 min Zumba, 18 min walking workout
Track: sort of.... I was good about tracking until the evening when it became clear that I was going to be well over my calorie goal and I was in a mood that I just didn’t care anymore so quit tracking
Under calorie goal: nope, not even close. I’ve had a rough patch here for a bit. I know I need to get back on track but sometimes you get into such a funk that you don’t care about the calories... but the good news is tomorrow is a new day. A blank slate. And I can try to do better. The other piece of good news is that I’ve done this (staying on track and losing weight) before and I can do it again. And third, this is my 4th pass. If I can just hang in and be disciplined for 10 more days, I can still make the winners circle. At least I can try!
