Beautiful day in at the field trial in PA yesterday. No ribbon for pregnant Babe. She kind of lost her mind a bit. Made the judge laugh but was not a ribbon worthy performance.

Lost my phone in the field. Used google account to ping it. Had to wait until trial was over to look for and find it.

Kelly, it isn't great. I'm getting a bit apathetic. Definitely considering my options once my three year contract with them is up.

I loved scuba and snorkling. I think it was because it was so quiet.

Lee, we were soul siblings ... I left my phone at a baby shower this weekend and had to go back for it. Doh! And thanks for the compliment! So far, I'm LOVING 50!

All you guys who are up 3# realize that some of that is fluid, right? I highly doubt you ate/drank 10,500 extra calories (above what your body needs to maintain) in 1 or 2 meals. Just sayin'.

My birthday this year was the single BEST birthday of my entire life. Bar none. I can't believe the lengths so many went to to love me. Connections are what fill my heart, and they poured them on and over and under and all around me. I woke up Friday morning to a big box of cards and heart-string-pulling letters and gifts that had been collected from all over the country (and one from Uganda, too!). My kids all called or came over or sent messages or brought gifts. Jim gave me a diamond and opal ring that is BEAUTIFUL, and a FABULOUS Chico's floral trench coat, and he took me to a really nice restaurant for date night. On Friday night he and my bestie threw a Zoom party for me with about 30 of my closest friends, and for 2 hours they shared stories about what brought us together and our shenanigans together. That was incredible ... it was like hearing all the kinds of things that people would say at a funeral, but getting to hear it all while I'm alive and well and can appreciate it. To say my cup is full is an understatement. I am the most blessed woman alive.

Today the builders will be starting on our deck. Woo-hoo! Still no appliances ... that date is late April now. (keep in mind that we bought them in September) We truly didn't think that the deck would happen before the appliances!

After spending a good amount of time mashing the refresh button on the HEB and CVS sites, I scored Cecilia an appointment out in Taylor (about 30 miles away). The pharmacies do it right - scheduling first and second doses at the same time - unlike Austin Public Health, where I don't know when my second will be.

The grandkids are coming over to spend the night, so their parents can take off early for a ski day, tomorrow. Always fun, but with DGD doing online school, we can't go anywhere (she is physically in school Thursday and Friday). We're more comfortable having the kids stay over now that we are fully vaccinated.

I'm cooking some healthy meals today to share with my DNephew/DW, they brought new baby Andrew Jr. home from hospital yesterday. I thought some pre-made food would be nice for them to have this week.

Well Mean Green UNT went home last night. Villanova was landing the 3 pointers one after another. And UNT couldn't hit any or catch up. They still had a great season! The Badgers and Ohio State are out as well. I got nothing left to cheer for lol.

Nice weather...melted the ice on the lake, its open waters as of yesterday. Can't wait to set up our new property once excavation is done. Now, its Chilly in the 40's again and rain to move in this week.
