Thoughts and prayers for Capital City Policeman who lost his life and his partner in the hospital. Motive of the Indiana man unknown.
Lisa, I meant I got what Skip's logo meant...T-rex Ram eating a Ford Raptor. The photo was just a throwback showing the evolution of the pick'em up truck.
DW has designated today as clean out the garage day. She is right, too much carp that needs to go.
Racoons destroyed her bird feeder this am. Birds are not happy.

Good morning BBB crew.
I drove an early 70s Dodge pickup my first two summers as a fire warden for the Oregon State Forestry (74 and 75). Biggest piece of junk ever made. I was so happy to get a new Chevy for the 76 season. You want a real Power Wagon, look at those from the late 50s. You never saw them on paved roads. They were real workers; always out at some logging or construction site. I want a pickup that will give me 40 miles per gallon.
Made a great pot of chicken noodle soup, last night. Yet another use for the Costco rotisserie chicken. Great tasting soup, low fat, and from cutting board to table in 1/2 hour.

Today we are driving an hour south to visit some if my former co-workers who moved here after Gordmans went bankrupt. Can't wait to catch up.

- Lisa, glad to hear things are going well for DD20. Let the sun shine on her.
- Good Friday service went well. I think I did okay with my scripture reading. It was all kind of a blur.
- When I was building my lake house in AL I had a '96 Dodge Ram. I think it is the only V8 I've ever owned (318ci). When the house was completed I traded it for a 6 cylinder Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. Both of them were Flame Red.
- I can't believe the decision of MLB. I guess I'll have more time on the motorcycle this summer.

I'm more a muscle car kind of gal, myself. I'm annoyed with pick ups right now, that's what toasted my knee. Plus they're bouncey, gezz my phone right now is jumping all over, trying to Type! Necessary tow for RV. Boat ownership...
EtA to lake, 10am, been up since 6am
Brought a nice dinner of chicken brats,asparagus and pepper/onions for the grill to ds2 & dfs house last night, Along with their Easter gifts. Maddie girl got a beef bone from butcher, and a stuffed lamb toy.
Going to be a beautiful weekend weather wise!
