Hi ladies!
Yesterday was tough. One of my horses started showing severe signs of foot pain so I had my farrier and vet out. He'll be fine, but I won't be able to ride him for several more weeks. He's the one I've been putting the most focus into, but I guess I'll switch to another one in hopes that he'll be able to stay sound with extra work. Horses are so frustrating! They can be much like weight loss, 2 steps forward, 5 steps back. UGH!
I didn't run. I should've, but couldn't get myself to do it. All I wanted to do was come inside to drown my sorrows with beer and comfort foods. BUT, I didn't do that. I had a sensible dinner, water instead of beer, fruit for dessert and did a yoga video instead. Small victories, right?
Today I will swim and ride Goose. I've had Goose for a few years, but haven't spent a ton of time working with him (he was supposed to be my husband's horse, but hubby decided riding isn't his thing). The universe seems to be telling me that I really should focus on him so I'll go with it and hopefully, great things will come from it
As always, I will do my best to log everything, stay under calories and drink all the water.
Have a great day, friends

I disagree Paree, staying away from snacks and beer in the middle of a crave wave, it is a BIG deal! Congrats!
Working with the other horse is going to be different and possibly more challenging and then more rewarding . At the least you’ll burn more calories 😀
Kate, what do you mean you weight dressed? No way. I’m with Paree, wear as little as possible and be as empty as possible 😂
My car is in shop, I may be hours from being called back full time in the office and outside is very muddy after 2 days of nonstop rain. Otherwise I’m doing great, can’t wait for the weekend.
Yesterday I finally stayed in the calories MFP gave me and did not eat back any of the exercise. Took me a year, but did it. Once. No fireworks when I stepped on the scale, go figure.2 -
