ome exercise finally, did about 4 or 5 hours of much needed yardwork. Got pretty tired, and took a lot of breaks, but I did it. Its been 3 weeks now since surgery, I am feeling more tired that I think I should. But it is slowly getting better.7 -

Reading through these posts, it really struck me that even those who had a bad day or week realized and acknowledge was caused their stumble. Well done!

✔️ EXERCISE: Yes. 90 minutes working in the yard. This is the flowerbed that I've named my "Mother's Flowerbed" in remembrance of my mother who passed away unexpectedly in May 2017. The Dogwood is so beautiful when it's in bloom. I have that tall ornamental grass that grows up in front of the propane tank, but it takes awhile to cover it up.

Have gone totally off the rails this week! Yikes! Time to reset and restart. As is my usual pattern, I started out good yesterday but didn’t follow thru on measuring and logging. Today's another day to try again.

@Mrs_Hoffer I LOVE LOVE LOVE the garden and the pink dogwood. I bought a bare root white dogwood and have so far been lucky to see it grow in Tx. I hope it does ok this year as the Desert Willow which I count on to shade it from the late afternoon searing heat in the summer was damaged during our ice but is slowly coming back. Just not sure how much shade it will provide. Growing up in the east I can remember all the dogwoods blooming in the forests looked like millions of butterflies floating in the woods.2
