    Morning BBB

We booked a weeklong sit in Omaha. So excited we will be able to visit all our friends without having to impose on any of them for a week.

Im going to plan to drive up (6 hrs round trip) to visit my grandma one day too. Hopefully Ron can take care of the pets for one day. The cat gets two shots a day so that might be the kicker.

Glad the vacation went well...it went fast.

    Good morning BBB crew.

Having fun with the grandkids. But, while their parents were eating lunch in Portland, on the way to Mt. Hood and skiing, someone smashed a window in their car and stole all my son's equipment and clothes. That's a heck of a start to your weekend getaway. To make matters worse, they called 911 and it took 10 minutes to get a person on the line, only to be told they needed to call the non-emergency number and be advised there would be at least a two-hour wait for an officer to respond. They called that number and waited 20 minutes without it answering, so they gave up. Don't have an emergency in Portland, I guess.

    Mornin' BBB.

Great you are having fun with grandkids. Scary about Portland 911.

Sounds like the cat is diabetic and getting insulin injections, Steph.

Being lazy with my cup of joe right now.

    BBB OP ;-)

WOW, SGM! Amazing. #defund the police. Yep. That's clearly the answer!

    SMH!

    Good morning.

Yup. Nothing to see in Portland. Move along.

We had lunch at an Argentinian place in the city yesterday and stumbled upon a gallery's Covid re-opening. So, we're cultured people now.

Those balloon animals are porcelain, BTW, and run $14-17k. ql7iszu5v4hx.jpg

    Kelly, you recovered yet?

Church and Sunday School this morning
Pulled some weeds out of front sod
need to plant tomatoes purchased yesterday to come in after ones now planted
need to touch up paint on deck table and chairs
Hard part of returning from vacation is recovery and catch-up
Police shortage is a nation wide problem, especially where protest wanted to defund police. Why would anyone want to put themselves in that position? Communities don't have 1st responders back.
Reckon art is in eye of beholder, no way would I want but some folks have money they need to expend. I could see resale at yard sale bringing $5.00.

    Good afternoon BBB Friends.
    • Got up early early and took neighbors to Sam's 'hood to catch a tour bus heading to the airport. The tour is headed to a southwest national parks tour.
    • Made it back just in time for church and SS. Surprise announcement that our Pastor is being reassigned.
    • From church met some neighbors at a local Mexican restaurant for lunch.
    • Expect a quiet afternoon watching the Braves.
    • Welcome home Kelly.
