It has been a bit hectic lately. It’s gardening season and I am in full swing trying to gardens planted. On top of that I have been going to one memorial service after another. And I lost my albino chipmunk to a hawk. She left her tail so I knew she was gone. Now I found she had a young one in her hole and we are feeding it because it is so lost without momma.

Doing much better. Maybe Monday I’ll get back on the bike.
Só the story behind the Dachshund is kind of silly. Itty Bitty dog and a really big radiograph table. I have a tether on one leg so I can stretch out the leg and get a view of the knee. I’m leaning and twisting to get the leg in the position I need and at the same time reaching for the trigger with my foot to take the shot. It’s like a bizarre game of twister. I felt one of the muscles in my back starting to tighten but I had the shot I needed so I didn’t let it go. It tightened up and pulled my spine out of whack and now I’m nursing a bad back. It’s amazing how much lead aprons weigh when you’re playing twister. On the plus side, the dachshund is fine. The knee was just sprained. My back is doing better and in the end it’s all going to be OK.3 -

@Dean - that is a hilarious post! Glad your back is improving.
@sussexbythesea - Very sorry to hear OH is back in the hospital. Hang in there.
I went for a run this morning - only to be interrupted by the many neighbors I haven't seen all winter saying hello. A good problem!0 -

@sussexbythesea I hope your OH is doing better today.
@sufferlandrian Those doxies are mischievous little monsters in the disguise of a sweet little doggie. We bred them for 15 years and loved each of our moms and dads.
Last week weather wise was pretty good, Saturday was utterly fantastic. Too bad I was spring cleaning all day. Not many steps but I feel better. Still have to do the upstairs after the kids were home, I'm fearful of the destruction that is the boy's room. since I rarely go up there I'm hoping it might not be too bad Even as an adult with his own child, he's all about who's been in his room.

Sorry I've been missing! I'll have to do some catching up! My mileage "should" be higher but oh well. It is 52.50. Mostly all from walking.0

Could have gone biking today but I got started on yard stuff and that led to house stuff and that led to shop stuff and by the time I got around to biking, I was too tired.
Guess tomorrow is another day.
@sussexbythesea - I'm sorry to hear about OH. Hope it doesn't take longer than 24 hours.
@kar328 - I'm sure you have your own stories of contortionism.3 -

@sufferlandrian - most definitely! From jumping on the bed to push a stuck shoulder under the pubic bone to riding down the hall on the bed with your hand holding a head up off the prolapsed umbilical cord (which then involves you under the drapes in the OR until the baby is delivered). You think I'd be better at yoga ...
4 miles today.2
