Good morning BBB crew.

People up here are joking the month should be called Junuary. It's chilly. The high yesterday was mid 50s. I am listening to the furnace running as I type. We aren't forecast to be back up to the 70s until next week.

I was jonesing for a burger yesterday, so I did a smash burger, using a cast iron griddle heated on our gas grill. Toasted potato bun, slice of onion, ripe tomato, American cheese, lettuce, special sauce = best burger ever.

It was a nice weekend in WI for the wedding. Music went well. I don't know that I've ever driven through so much farmland, and we have a lot of farmland here. It was pretty!

Next weekend we're going to Chicago with my sister and her hubby. I was flabbergasted to find out that they've NEVER been! And we're only a few hours away, too. We go a couple times a year, sometimes more, and have for 30 years now. So, we got the gocity passes and will be doing the whole tourist experience with them. I'm looking forward to it! I'll definitely need a NAP when we get home, though.

The furnace, Dave? Wow! It was 90 here yesterday, and is supposed to be in the high 80's all week. Sporatic thundstorms predicted for all week, too. I hope we get a couple good ones!

Along with that wedding, Saturday was Jim's b-day, too. He didn't want any gifts, so I detailed his car for him instead. I spent about 2 hours on the interior, and it looks amazing now.

Cecilia spent all weekend studying to get caught up in her classes and thinks she's in a good place now. I got in a ton of walking over the weekend so I wouldn't be under foot.

Skip - there was no way I could get a picture. His owner - who was wearing what I'll charitably call short shorts with her rump hanging out was there with him. To take a picture of the dog would have made a de facto creeper pic.

Ouch, Lee! It's not messing with her vision is it?

Good morning BBB Friends.

• yep Skip, DW is working a couple of days a week manning the front desk at our clubhouse. It gives her something to do and she gets to see people.
• We got some much needed rain last night and more expected this week. Temps ranging in the 60s in the night and 80s during the day which is mild for us this time of the year.
• I need to get serious about my Boys State preparations. I leave Friday.
• There is something special about a hamburger off the grill, smashed or otherwise.

Sam, I think Lou is aware that if you enjoy being a creeper you must be judicious in your creeping or your creeping credentials will be recalled.

The party was amazing and everything was Great! From the 3 main dishes including huevos Ranchero egg cups(excellent,) to the individual cups of tiramasu, everything was great. The kids and their friends, families had a blast and they were very thankful.

Tomorrow is an early 7am breakfast out with 10 or so ladies and then to a private garden tour in Sheboygan WI celebratingva birthday...Though we need rain, hopefully it's during the nite tonight.

Then Wed. Thur. Fri. I'm back in office to meet the Co. owner and new owner, oh joy.
