Congratulations to the June Champs AND winners. I managed to read most of the posts and saw what an amazing job everyone was doing figuring out how to keep the UAC going Thank you! i decided since I was back in the office last month that my time might be too limited to keep up but oddly I found that I could not stay away. LOL. UAC is a good addiction to have.
And thank you to @RangerRickL and his team (esp Rose!) for all you have done the past few years to support and help so many. So generous!

Yes to all questions.
Pass days 0/3
What I have decided to do this month is what @MaltedTea mentioned once before. I'll eat up whatever extra calories I left during the week from my 1500 , not my exercise calories. This way, I could have a well controlled open day. That's being said, I only had 21 extra calories today, but this is just the beginning!
Congrats to all June's winners and champions. Welcome to all new members, hopefully you will have a productive stay 💪💪.
Goodnight 💜💛8 -

A new month – welcome to all new members, welcome back to old friends.
Congratulations to all those in the Winner’s Circle (not sure how I scraped in there).
I’m afraid I didn’t get off to a good start to July.
Exercise – yes, long bike ride, and hilly. Also walking.
Tracking was difficult as I was away from home staying with my DIL and it was hard to estimate the calories.
I was probably over my calorie allowance – I had bread and cheese with lunch; I didn’t weigh the cheese and we all know how calorie dense cheese is. We had risotto for dinner and again I don’t know the portion size or the recipe.
Well, to be honest, I shall be aiming for the Champions circle this month as I’m away on holiday for a week in the middle of the month and again at the end of the month.
So pass day number 1 today.
I shall be extra careful before I go on holiday.11 -
Congrats to all of the Champions who posted throughout June, and to those who made the Winner's Circle. You are all inspirations!
Happy Canada Day to all of you up there (physically or in spirit)!
@SummerSkier it is so nice to see you posting here again
You really killed it today @TerriRichardson112 that is a lot of activity!
I think that sounds like a great plan @thabit11, looks like you are off to a great start this month already
Enjoy your holiday @lesdarts1806 -
For July I will track the 3 UAC goals plus these personal goals:
1. Keeping net carbs below 30 since I plan to maintain ketosis through the month.
2. Getting at least 180g of protein each day since I am being fairly active while also in a caloric deficit.
3. Ensuring all scheduled workouts for that day are completed.
July 1
✅ - Exercise 20+ Minutes
✅ - Calories within budget
✅ - Tracked every detail I consumed
0 Pass Days Used
Personal Challenges Met: 1/1 days
✅ - Net Carbs 30g or less (22g)
✅ - Protein 180g or more (216g)
✅ - All Scheduled Workouts Completed (2)- Run - 90 mins - mid-week long run, 90 mins at easy effort (Zone 2)
- Strength - 14 mins - Upper Body A - 3 circuits going straight from Push-Ups to Lat Pull-Downs to Palloff Press with 3 min recovery between circuits
I also fit in a 49 min walk today.7 -
We made it y'all: July! Thanks again to everyone who helped keep UAC running.
While I didn't do the Theresa Depasquale's 90-Day Workout Program today (for lack of setting up the file on my computer), I walked everywhere instead (and may go skipping after my prelogged dinner) 🤷🏾♀️
Then I wondered how to proactively get ready for August's workout so I'm not procrastinating again 30 days from now. But since I doomed myself - back in March's UAC - to repeat The 10,000 Swing Kettlebell Workout for August, that's taken care of.
So now to refocus on the current month...

1. Do NOT exceed 5 passes (I have five days of vacation)

3. Follow recomp routine without fail (except while on vacation)
4. Close all three rings of Apple watch 31 of 31 times (this is the July Challenge the app gave me)
5. Rest day calories: 1200 + active treadmill calories / WO day calories: 1300 + active treadmill calories
I've changed my recomp to a 30 day dumbbell routine here: https://www.livestrong.com/article/13727083-dumbbell-challenge
I found myself getting bored the last week or so with the one I used last month. I like this one because it's completely dumbbell based and I didn't have to make so many modifications. And it's four different workouts instead of five. The downside is there are fewer exercises and fewer sets so I'll be adding 1-2 sets as well as 1-2 more exercises for at least the upper body workouts.
I am planning five pass days because I'm meeting some friends in Carmel (they live in other states than I do) for a long weekend and it's unlikely we'll be doing much walking. One of my friends has a bad knee and can hardly walk as it is and the other two aren't regular exercisers but they are in decent shape so I may be able to get at least one of them to go on a morning walk with me. In any case I'm looking forward to it as I haven't seen them since Dec 2019. This is our fourth reschedule of the date since a year ago and I think it will finally happen.8 -
Congratulations to the Winner's Circle and the Champions!

Yes, yes and yes, July is off to a good start here!8
