Fabulous NSVs so far, congrats to all! Hmm, my NSV... Well I have continued to come back to MFP and have never considered quitting. This will be a way of life for me. I had a fall in early July that stopped my bike riding for a couple months. And I've been in a bad period sleeping for about the same time. I also have some issues with emotional/binge eating. But I do what I can to ensure I'll be back on the plan again. I'm a bit of a hard nut to crack, but I've cracked myself before so I can do it again 😉.

@SModa61 - Sherry, it's so good to see you and to get an update! Thanks for taking the time to stop by! I've sure MISSED you!!!7 -
For the last few years, lumbar back problems have been sometimes caused physical pain and limited activity. Starting each day with active stretching has helped me to prevent or recover. This morning after my opening stretching, my back felt “open”. That is my NSV! Later in the day, I was able to work with horses and have full mobility.

Hello! My NSV's are my jeans fit better, they are not tight around the waist anymore. My knees pain (and joints in general) have reduced tremendously, so that's great. On the weekends If I go out for lunch or dinner I have been able to stick to ordering the healthier options. 😁

Hi @SModa61 - hang in there. And then get back here!3

I love reading everyone’s NSVs.
NSV - I don’t have a handicap placard for my car anymore. I haven’t had to use my cane in the last 18 months. I chased my 3 year old granddaughter around the house today because she wanted me to be the big bad wolf and blow the house down - and I could do it(chase her I mean, not blow the house down).

I have loved reading all your NSVs - thank you to each of you for sharing! My first is that I have tracked for 51 days now (!) and I have stuck with this. I have also been working on establishing some good habits including allowing more enjoyment and less time at work. First phase of the decluttering project went well and I am now singing again every day. It helps that I have Philharmonic Chorus rehearsals again now and the repertoire is really challenging. Everyone is double vaccinated and masked; we rehearse in the cathedral sanctuary, 9 feet apart, and no rehearsals longer than 75 minutes. This makes me so happy and motivated to keep exercising as I need the lung capacity and breath control!

NSV’s:
I keep trying things until I figured out how to get back to a more effortless maintenance.
***Walnuts*** Having to stop eating nuts a while back seemed to mess things up for me. So, I decided to try again - small amount - a couple of times a day. So far, so good.
More relaxation - even an occasional nap & relaxing while reading or listening to music. Finally accepting that I am actually retired. Only took about 5 years LOL
***Tracked my food AND REVIEWED key macro/micros *prior* to eating.***
Was I scared? YES.
Did I face the fear? YES
(and that’s my True NSV.)
PS I loved reading all of yours!
PPS A big hug to @SModa61 - so sorry for all you are having to deal with! We’ll be here using your return with open arms💕8 -

I was just starting my second "semester" singing with a community chorus when the pandemic hit. For the past year they've been meeting via zoom. I have not joined them as I have confidence issues when singing by myself and singing in my room was just too weird for me. I was hoping to go back when they started up again next week, but I won't be able to make the first rehearsal as my daughter is having an endoscopy that afternoon and since she'll be going under for that, I won't be surprised if I have to stay with her for 8 hours after like I had to do when she was doing ECT. So... maybe the week after. I'm looking forward to singing again. Fingers crossed.7 -
