    How 'bout them Braves!

Long morning of HOA fine hearings to chair; long afternoon of meetings. Ugh.... C'mon weekend.

Hope you are feeling better, Lou!

    Cheers,

    Good morning
I had no idea that a lot of meat would cause a gout flare up. I’ve never heard of a woman having gout, only men?? Hope you’re better soon Lou.

I’m dog sitting to the tune of $800 for the week. Only problem is that this Great Dane is scary to me. He’s super old, has cancer but I get a feeling that he’s about to bite me for some reason.

I’m headed to the back surgeon today for follow up after the injections.

    Good morning.

The pain is still there in the knee, so I suppose I'll ask my doctor about it tomorrow since I was summoned for an appointment anyway for prescription refills. But with a high deductible medical plan, I'm not inclined to make myself a miracle of modern medicine just yet.

We're going to announce major upheaval at work tomorrow, so play time for me is going to come to an end pretty rapidly here.

    Good morning

    Congrats to the Braves!

My Birthday and Brewer baseball celebrations are done. Thank you all for your birthday wishes! Toms card made me cry happy. Lol. We will spend the next couple of weeks designing an opal diamond custom ring set. Yes, that "ring" set... When the rings are done, the ball is in his court :) Excited !!!

Feel better Lou and Kelly hope your back is better and you both have good news.

I start the TED meds infusion tomorrow.

Kelly, Good paying gig for the Dane. Buy him off with treats?!

    Have a good day BBB

    Good morning BBB crew.

Hope you work through the gout, Lou. Used to think of gout in humorous terms; something suffered by an aging English lord in a 19th Century novel. But I had a co-worker who suffered with it. It was a tough go.

Great Danes look pretty intimidating, but most are pretty mellow. It's a good thing. You'd have to carry a pretty big plastic bag when walking one, though.

Taking the communion set I turned to church for the pastor's approval, this morning. I like how they came out.

    Eeek Mary!!! How exciting.

    Lovely communion set.

Well our stay in Vegas is coming to an abrupt end. Our homeowner is in the hospital with a blood infection and they will only release her to go to the airport and come home so they will be home tonight.

So we are pivoting. We don’t have an exact plan but are headed west from here. We have a couple of Airbnb’s tagged in a ski resort town in New Mexico and one near San Antonio that look promising. If none work out we will head to South Beach earlier than planned.

    Ugh - back issues suck!

    Lou - upheaval? Yikes.

Mary - WOW! Big news! Excited for you!

Skip, they seem to manage COVID in schools very good. Each student is assigned a seat in each room, if one comes up positive those around are required to quarantine or wear mask and checked daily for 10 days. Last week only had 8 cases in school system including all staff and students. Took several weeks to get COVID in check in August where everyone was coming back to school from all over. Most do not wear mask unless they have .been within close contact in which teachers have a list to ensure they stay masked. I've had two vaccines plus booster at full strength so I don't worry about it though I do know of folks in hospital ICU who had had initial vaccines. I've also been taking Hydroxychloroquin for more than 7 years and no matter what some say many hospitals still use to treat COVID cases with good results.
Opal diamond ring set is truly vintage, know it will be beautiful.
Most Great Danes I've known though large and intimating are sweet but can hurt one while playing.

    Good afternoon GoaD.
    • Home from a trip to Athens. A visit to the financial guy, a little shopping and lunch in the city.
    • That doesn't sound like a fun morning Skip.
    • Good luck with the Great Dane Kelly. They are usually big teddy bears but all bets are off if they are old and in pain. Our previous Dachshund, Sarah, went to puppy school and was always next to a Great Dane. They were the best buds.
    • That is a divine communion set Dave. I think your pastor will love it.
    • Well that's a curve ball Steph. I hope she'll be okay.
    • Fortunate timing with the Dr visit Lou. I hope you see improvement soon.
    • Mary, I am not real good at reading between the lines but I think congratulations are in order. Congratulations! BTW, your Brewers did well. Awesome pitching.

Beautiful communion set Dave. The church is lucky.

Surgery is being planned. I was shocked. He aggressively wants to nip it in the bud. Very small incision. Back to work in a week.
The shot will wear off leading to more discomfort which I knew. I just didn’t plan that he’d say that. Oh well.

    Kelly!

No matter what they say - back surgery is MAJOR surgery. "less invasive" is a misnomer. Trust me (four fusions and cages later) - do not believe the "one week" hype. Its invasive and requires rest and proper physical therapy for best outcome(s). Pushing it - delays recovery and can inhibit effectiveness.

Don't wish this on anyone. Back surgery sucks. It truly does. Four is worse - but a degenerative condition that seems to be hereditary. I digress. If they can provide the "solution" beyond shots and drug therapy - TAKE IT. But don't rush the recovery.

Advice from a friend and a patient........

Well... let's just say we are on a path to the steps of making it someday legal... with i's dotted and t's crossed and some estate legal docs drawn up as well.First comes the custom designed gemstones,☺ then he asks the question. With a no brainer answer, of course.... 😄
