    Rise and shine!

    DGS has a football game vs. Georgetown that I will go to this afternoon. Nice weather expected, but tonight downpours and T-storms and cool fall weather afterwards.

    Time to make the coffee...

    Good Morning!

    Earlier this week, Collin had an upper respiratory infection. Now guess who is hacking and feels like carp. Ugh!

    I don't know that I will get much of anything done today but rest. I have not had one of these in several years. Collin did go to urgent care earlier in the week, and it is not COVID, so I am thankful there.

    It got done to 36 last night. I may have to turn on the furnace in the house. It is 67 in here now.

    Good morning gentlemen.

    Sassy had a good walk, yesterday - 3.1 miles; her longest, yet - and a good evening. We met a neighbor, who told us of a better puppy training school, where she and her Golden went. It sounds much more like what we were hoping to get. It had socialization, but also worked the owners and pups through some basic commands and obedience. She said she would look for the phone number and drop it off.

    Spent a little time in the shop, yesterday, too. Still knocking out mushrooms. Today is supposed to be pretty nice - 65 degrees and some sunshine through the clouds - so I'll try to get the lawn mowed again.

    Hope you can get into that training group, Dave. Is it too cold to introduce Sassy to water? She might really enjoy and great way to burn puppy energy.

    I am sorry to hear you and Colin are under the weather. Colds and Flues during these Covid times can be a bit worrisome. Iam glad he got tested.

    It is good news on the new obedience school. Let’s hope that does the trick.

    Busy day today we are off early to one of the counties Hazardous Waste Disposal sites to bring old paints, chemicals and electronics. We have quite a bit now that my son has brought his downstairs to join our old TV and the stuff in the garage. Then after a walk we will head off to the Cinema & Alehouse for lunch and James Bond at my wife’s request. I prepped by watch8ng the real James Bond in The Rock while baking multigrain rolls for our shredded pork sandwiches.

    Glad you are finding a better puppy training school. I loved mine back in the day.
    Foggy start ot day with dense fog and probably mid to upper 60s later. Nice foggy ride early.

    Good Afternoon,
    Started 0 dark thirty, working on house where folks can't get insurance, elderly, can't walk and on dialysis. Then helped man from church change out microwave; I hate microwaves over stoves.
    Neighbor across street passed away this morning, she had been in hospital for 3 weeks with COVID, had taken 2 vaccines back in February. No ICU beds around here so she had been down in Cordele about 100 miles south of here.
    DMIL went to her other daughters yesterday and will be there a week; spent week with our DD then week with her oldest DGD. We are starting 3rd week of vacation from DMIL.

    Cool front came through this morning, high today was 77 then dropped to 72, high tomorrow predicted to be 68 after starting morning at 46. They say 43 Monday and Tuesday morning.
