... hmm I thought the return to BBCode was supposed to have fixed the line spacing issues. Seems not to be the case.2 -
Saturday November 13
✅✅✅
But only after forcing myself onto the treadmill for a 30 minute brisk walk and doing an additional 9 flights of stairs. Didn’t allow myself to have any of my exercise calories today (as I had for the past two VERY high activity days). Lower energy level today. Processing yesterday’s news and it was honestly too cold outside for a walk.
The reminder to consider something that made us smile was well timed @SummerSkier — thank you 💛
Finished two books today (each was started earlier in the week) and I loved them both: The Magic Strings of Frankie Presto by Mitch Albom, and The Rose Code by Kate Quinn. Escaping into reading brings me a lot of joy. I have started on two more books so that should keep me smiling. I also went back and sang all my November song challenge picks to date and selected some potential options for the next week.

Things that brought a smile - my husband’s humor & kisses, and a fabulous hike in nature with him & another nature hike later in the day by myself - bright green grass, sunshine, blue skies6 -
Something that made me smile, I was holding my friend’s 8 month old baby while we were having lunch and I got a big smiles and laughs from her. My two year old who was sitting next to me looked completely unimpressed. 😂

Back on track after my pass day, and feeling better.
What made me smile is my kids (ages 5 and 9) getting their first COVID shot! (And an even bigger smile was that my wife was the one who actually took them and got to deal with the last-minute resistance from both of them). They are very excited to be able to get back to a more "normal" life where we go to indoor playspaces and do indoor playdates (which the 5 year old does not even remember).6 -

yes for 3.
Wow what a day! Been busy putting things away in my new craft organizer. Wow it turned into a decluttering! Love what it has done for my craft area! even got the tree down. It has been exhausting close to 20,000 steps today. Had lots of fun with my daughter. Now to finish and post a photo.5 -
It was a pass day for me mostly for not recording. Food was reasonable though likely a little on the high side.
It was a surprisingly good day for smiles. One that comes to mind is when I sent a text by mistake to a group (as opposed to a designated individual) asking them if they would like to join me at a future walk event. I was about to apologize for the text when I got the excited response of 'why yes, we would love to do this with you!' This is not a group of people that I would have expected to have said yes so it made me really happy. The unintentional mixup brought many smiles to my face throughout the day thinking about how funny things work out.6 -
I had a whole day of smiles. It can be summed up in one word: grandkids.

For good reason, my husband calls the rowing machine ¨the killer machine.¨ After reading an article on MFP about how the rowing machine is the most underestimated machine in the gym, good for more than 90% of your muscles, we have been trying to use it. I upped my time just 2 more minutes-- and today I found a new sore muscle!

@MadisonMolly2017 I love to sew. I paint and draw. Beading is another one. My Daughter knits and crochets. Not done with organizing, but at least to a stopping point. So heres a couple of pictures of what I have. All of the baskets are filled with yarn or embroidery projects. We do a little of everything. The fabric on the organizer is going to be a cloak/ Jacket.4
