    The wedding was nice. The officiant was devilishly handsome.

    I've been up since 2:30.

    This has all the makings of a long day.

    Well, Babe had a good trial and phenomenal final series but got no love from the judges in the form of the ribbon. Even so, judges were very complimentary afterwards. It was a very competitive trial and the dogs that got placements just had better first and second series. A wee bit frustrating but am very happy with her bounce back performance considering she was out of control the day before.

    Long drive but got home in time for a light dinner with DW and to catch up on our weekends.

    Back to work Monday.

    Good morning BBB crew.

    That's too early, even for me, Lou.

    DW and DDIL have agreed that there will only be presents for children, so shopping got a lot easier. On the other hand, I am going to have a salad set with one large bowl and six smaller ones, that will just sit until I get around to selling it. DDIL doesn't really need or have room for it, anyway.

    I kind of look forward to Mondays. The start of a new week, looking forward to what it will bring. But then, I'm retired.

    Yoga this morning,
    Broke down and hired a guy to clean windows and gutters; DW fusses too much when I go up a ladder and get on roof; they are suppose to be here about time I leave.
    DMIL is gone till after Christmas, house is quite and peaceful
    Cooking supper for lodge this afternoon, DW baked an Italian Cream cake for me to take.

    Lazy day yesterday of mostly movies and naps. Today sun is shining and already warmer than yesterday.

    Need to make a grocery run either today or tomorrow.

    • I kind of like Mondays. Breakfast with the ROMEOs.
    • Neighbor is starting his last work week. Next week he can have breakfast with us.
    • I was worried I didn't have a speaker for our UMM breakfast on Thursday and yesterday one magically appeared. Prayers do get answered.
    • Falcons beat Panthers yesterday. No Charlotte folks here so I can gloat.
    • I guess come Jan. 1st I will need to learn the new WW system. No use starting now.
