    Good morning!

I woke up tired this morning. I hope that I shake these sleepies before heading into work in about an hour. I chose not to exercise this morning. I have exercised three mornings, lightly, since coming off covid, and I think that I just need a break this morning. I am most OK following covid, but still some lingering weakness, and lack of energy. That has been pretty normal for me, so I'm pretty much back to where I was.

I am starting to catch up just a little at work. I have almost got my cash reconciled again, and I hope to start working on close today. There are still a ton of things that I can work on. I still have almost 70 open email to work. I am not bored at work, that is for sure.

I hope that you all have a great day today!

    Mornin ' gents.
We are dealing with two employees that called in this am. One is a young woman that is having back issues the other has a husband that has suddenly come down with respiratory symptoms (COVID?).
Ugh. This means I gotta go in early to help do their jobs.
    7 degrees here.
    Be OP ;-)

Morning, men. Missed checking in yesterday. It’s a frigid 1° this morning… but warming up to 9° this afternoon.

Picked up a new ice chisel at a new veteran-owned hunting and fishing shop, called “Old Glory”. “A whiskey drinking, gun shooting, deer slaying, and fish catching business” says their website. Owner told me the ice on small ponds is now 3”-5” thick.

Got in a late walk after the rain Sunday, and yesterday did a 6-mile road walk at the Quabbin reservoir. Roads had icy patches and then it started snowing, making the ice vs. bare road hard to spot. Didn’t fall, and it felt good to get a brisk workout in the 25° air. Most I’ve walked since hip bursitis started. Only a little sore afterwards.

Got a chuckle from the “easy home repair” discussions.

Sam, awesome looking trike. Drive safe!

    Good morning gentlemen.

While the opposite end of the country is frigid, we (of course) are warming. It will be in the low 50s today, with rain all day.

I got out for a nice 4-milke walk with Sassy, yesterday. She was great on the leash, too. Only a little craziness. She is only 6 months old, so some crazies are par for the course.

I have an in-person meeting of my woodturning club tonight. This is the first meeting in person in almost two years. The club is requiring masks and proof of vaccination to enter.

Learning vaccinations and booster is not preventing COVID , but those testing positive are having mild cases. Now my DB and DSIL are not doing very good, they refused vaccinations, can’t fix stupid
Trike still sitting in FL, am told it will be here Wednesday evening at latest
Steve, stay the course you will get closed
Cold for GA, may not hit 50 today

Ugh is right Lee and darn cold too. Hope both Dave and Sam are doing better with their hands and fingers. Gosh the woodturning club sounds great Dave.
Nice Mike and the "old Glory" huntin', whiskey, and fishin' shop. Wonder if they have Dupont spinners too (teehee just kiddin')
I learned in the Philippines that guns, fishing, and libations don't mix. One of the local gendarmes insisted on having some drink, climbing into a locals boat to go fishing whilst casually holding onto his M16 assault rifle. At least he didn't sink the boat but honestly!

    Good Morning

I thought of you Mike when reading the story about the ice fishermen in Green Bay who had to be rescued when the ice broke off from shore and drifted away out into the lake. It was a mile offshore when the last few were rescued.

Not working much yet. They announce it to the rest of the Mentors on our Wednesday call and then I will be able to get going with the bulk of the work. I have an MRI follow-up call today. Hopefully, we will decide on a plan to get things calmed down and more stable. I am requesting a 6-8 week return to PT to get a home workout that is doable and effective. Procedurally I don't know what will work right now.
