0 Pass days.
I'm up about 1.5 pounds in the last few days hopefully sodium related as I have done some estimates in logging restaurant food. I'll dock myself pass days if necessary based on how things shake out.
Oh...and Happy Valentine's Day to all the terrific women here... :-)7 -

You have all been a blessing to me on this health journey. You are still blessing me
Your comments, discussions, openness, encouragements, support, etc., etc., etc., I lack words to describe what you all mean to me. This is the best social group I have ever connected. I am not a social group kind of person. Too much time wasting for me. But I enjoy reading and learning from you all.
From the bottom of my heart. Thank you and Happy Valentine day!
"Stretch the sweetness from the celebration so that it last a few days". This is what I say to myself when I have cakes, etc., It keeps me in-check and I do not go overboard. I hope you stretch the sweetness for a couple of days instead of taking a pass day except you've planned for it
This is beautiful!!! @victorious552 -

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes 35 HASFit low impact cardio toning
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes,
Coworker brought a Valentine’s treat and cut a piece for my husband and I didn’t take any. Since I had a cupcake yesterday I didn’t want another treat.6 -
Yes x2 but didn't track honestly. Now altho I have so much workout calories that wld def make me under I am still going to take it as a pass day as there was way too much grazing going on and just picking at food for the he'll of it!! Feb hasn't been great on the scale.. My goal weight was 56kg I hit 56.1kg on the 30th of Jan and was thrilled i then decided to complicate things and change my goal weight to 53kg to create more of a buffer. I think that's where I went wrong as I then self sabbataged. I shld hve just taken a break from eating at a deficit wen I reached 56kg then went back to getting down to 53kgs later on, so after a break. This morning I was a whopping 59.4kgs its so frustrating! If anyone has any tips or tricks to keep the weight from fluctuating or how they deal with this being such a painful process I would love to hear from u. Lots of love of val day ur friend Donna. Xo6

Yes x3. A walk, lower body strength and yoga. Hubby is still down and out with covid and belly issues so no celebrating or extra sweet treats to tempt me today!8

✔︎ 20+ mins exercise (1hr 32min walk, 39 mins metcon style strength with alternating squats, weighted arm exercises, and walking in between; I've really been enjoying these longer walks!)
✔︎ Within calorie budget... just barely as I worked in a couple "treats" today!
✔︎ Log everything

Other habits I’m tracking this month:
✔︎ Morning meditation (I'm learning to make this habit WORK for me; when I can, I do more... when I'm short on time or attention, I still make it a priority but don't guilt or shame myself if I do 5 mins rather than 10 or more)

✔︎ Drink >64oz water (not a stellar water day at 70 oz but I feel proud that I'm making this a priority!)

I have a little weekend holiday coming up Fri-Mon this week. I'm feeling nervous about staying on track while away. I'm going to pack my scale - yes, I feel this is the right decision for me although I understand that may seem crazy to some (ahem, my partner included) - and I've come up with a plan to get morning movement in: walk down the street to a coffee shop. This is a trip I take annually for my birthday and this is the first year I will be looking at it a whole new way: being mindful of my choices with food/movement/accountability rather than just saying: TREAT YO SELF. (Any Office fans out there? Pretzel Day!) I'd love to hear from anyone with advice, suggestions, etc. I just love this group and am so grateful for all of you!💗5 -

I'm not sure what happened today. Something about deserving chocolate because it's valentine's day, which then turned into a crazy overeating session in the evening. I am now awake at 3am after 3 or 4 hours sleep, feeling physically and emotionally overwhelmed.
It's been a while since I binged like this and I will treat it as a one-off and move on, though it's hard not beating myself up about it - especially as the insomnia will make work difficult tomorrow. 😴8 -

@josefinejem ((hugs)) I can relate. I'm on DAY TWO of "something about deserving chocolate because it's valentine's day, which then turned into a crazy overeating session in the evening." I'm sorry that you are now awake and can't sleep, I hate that when that happens! I took an OTC sleep aid last night because of last night's binge and plan on taking another one tonight because of tonight's binge. Last night I slept fine, I hope for the same tonight... I can't let this go on for a third day so that means distancing myself from sugar. I agree, no sense beating ourselves up. I hope tomorrow is a better day for the both of us!
Pass Day 4 for me today. Didn't track, went over calories.
The good news is that I got in a 4 mile run this morning.

Exercised longer to get my calorie deficit to zero — then well cleared that! Hit all my fitness challenges today. 13,000+ steps.
No chocolate, but not much of an accomplishment as I don’t even really like it 😂😂😂

@makattack220 I take my scale too.. no judgment here.. easy to pack and I like the data.
Have a great trip! Definitely recommend planning to stay within maintenance calories versus trying to be on holiday and be in a deficit (assuming you are normally). Gets rid of a lot of the feelings of trying to fight a totally uphill battle to me.
Happy early birthday. I get the concern but stick to the habits you've set as best you can, enjoy yourself and remember that what makes the difference is what happens most of the year!3 -

I'm going to call it a 5th pass day
Exercise: Half hour walk
Tracking: Planned the day - not the night before, as is ideal, but before each meal
Calories: I was doing well right up until bedtime snack, which was Valentine's Day treats from a local bakery. That was estimated in the tracking of course, but I am pretty sure I ate more than estimated.
@donna25trinity I also have spent the last several months hovering around a number - which is not the number I ever wanted to be my goal weight, but is a steady number. When I try to lose more I sabotage and gain. I am trying what seems to be maintenance calories for a bit now to see how that goes. I think I may be accepting that thought I wanted to lose 45 pounds, and I was off to a great start losing 20 pounds without too much trouble (though over a period of almost 2 years), 25 pounds may be the max I can lose without being very hungry. But I'm going to hang out here for a bit and see how it goes before I decide that. Maybe I just need a break. Or maybe I can adjust downwards just a tiny bit and lose ever-so-slowly.3 -

@makattack220 First of all, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!
I'm going away this weekend as well (for hubby's birthday!) and although I'm not bringing my food scale with us this time (I have in the past!) I do plan to continue to log every single thing and work to stay under my calorie goal. I'm in more of a maintenance mode right now - so my cal goal is a little higher than it was when I was trying to lose. But GOOD FOR YOU for bringing your food scale with you! My hubby knows that I'm all about doing WHATEVER IT TAKES in order to keep my weight off and stay on track, and he's very supportive of me - whatever my "plan" looks like at the moment!! (I say that, because he's pointed out in the past that my "plan" often changes! LOL.) He's such a sweetie and I'm very lucky to have him!6
