    Up early for a GI X-Ray w/ barium (oh boy). Gonna drop off #Tucker for some Daycare time and try to let DW sleep - she picked up my bad flu from last week. Ugh....

    Really baffled by the Braves organization today, Dennis. How do you NOT sign Freddy Freeman??? WOW!

    Not understanding our conundrum in DC either - resigning Doolittle. These MUST be signs the rapture is near!

    Busy day. Still dog sitting. Cha Ching made about 1k. Nice. We booked a 9 day cruise for September. Woo hoo

    To catch y'all up.. On Friday the HOA filled a complaint with the Texas Department of Insurance. Magically things unstuck themselves yesterday and we got the green light to start restoration. Now all we need is an updated quote and the scheduling folks to smile down upon us.

    • Started the day with my Tuesday Morning Emmaus group.
    • Yeh, kind of surprising the Braves gave up on Freeman but who knows how the negotiations were going and you can't find yourself without an option. In today's world of pro sports, it's not just the WHO but also the HOW MUCH. Matt Olson is local guy who grew up in the area. Make the best with the cards you are dealt.
    • Hopefully things will start moving forward Lou.
    • I'm not sure Bat Bike is working for me.

    Morning bbb

    We have our possessions organized but hoping to photograph everything in the closet and put the "going overseas" items in a flat rate box so if dad needs to send them to us it will be as easy as possible. But he keeps bringing over his girlfriends mastiff and he sheds like crazy so we are trying hard to keep dog hair out of our stuff. Ron is getting frustrated.

    We ate heading to town soon to wash the car and visit my mom's best friend. They always want to see us and she has a remodeled kitchen she wants to show off.

    Will begin our trek to California tomorrow. Had a nice visit but ready to move on.
