G'morning.
Aside from a shootout loss and a very failed attempt to eat a hot dog.....had fun at Capitals game last night. Too late home and up too early today..... Oi.....
88 degrees yesterday. Doubtful we'll see that today.

Good morning BBB crew.
Sorry about the hotdog, Skip. Hope may will bring a solution.
Long meeting of church elders, yesterday. Among other things, we have received the largest bequest in the congregation's history and have to decide how to best use it. That's a good problem to have, though.
A friend at church brought me a couple juniper logs to turn. Maybe I'll try to do something with one of them. She has given me several interesting pieces of wood. I need to turn something nice to give back to her.0 -
Mornin' BBB.
I forget where your Dad's place is located, Steph. I looked at the Nebraska wildfire map and there seems to be fires scattered centrally from Sand Hills to North Platte. Sure hope his home suffers no damage and they get some rain soon out there.
Lots of monies and what to do with it is a good problem to have.
What a shame about the hotdog, Skip. You are looking very thin, mahvelous, but thin.
Carrie needs a root canal? Oy. I can sympathize.

Just learned that Redskins (sorry, Commanders) hire - Carson Wentz bought a house in our hood (one street over from me).0 -
Da
Dad lives in Furnas county just outside of Hendley (right above the N). Sister lives in Indianola which is just off this map on the right. There is about 5-10 miles between the shown towns. The other big fire from two weeks ago is just north and east of this one. So so much farm and pasture land has burned. Two firefighters have died. National guard is now on the scene so at least the local volunteer FF can get some relief.
The area has had less than 2 inches of precipitation in 9 months. There aren’t many houses so not too many lost but so much livestock, hay and crops. It’s so sad.
Two big hikes in a row after many days of not much mean I am tired and sore. Nap yesterday helped and today the plan needs to be small hike.0 -
Prayers for your family Steph.
Raining here today. Ugh0 -
So I know I've missed a lot, but what's up with your digestive health, Skip? You look good in the pic!
I'll bet you're an awesome elder, Dave. That's a tough job! Jim did one term at a really awful church and will never go near it again.
Lee, "the young one" was only 6 when I found the boards, so probably about 7 or 8 when I met you. And now she's all grown up!
Lou, nice verse.
Dennis, yours, too.
I'm praying for your family, Steph! That's scary!
I babysat some grands this morning, then helped a sponsee celebrate her 1 year sobriety birthday. I'm so happy for her! She's a MIRACLE. I chair an online meeting in about 5 minutes, and we'll celebrate with them, too.
Albert and Aly, from this morning:

Skip, I have no idea who that is lol. I will Google it. Ds1 is in DC apt tonite whoohoo.
Nice gift to your church Dave. The lutheran church i grew up in closed due to lack of membership and money. Sad.
I'm starting to gather and pack for our 5 days at the Lake. Hope the temps warm up. Tom has some waders for some shoreline boat parking work to do. And we do some yard work too.
Lisa, you're a wonderful Gramma!
Anyone try this Frozen Farmer Sorbet? I'm going to try to buy some!0 -
Lisa, beautiful children. ❤️0

- Off to my Emmaus Reunion group.
- Feeling a little under the weather. I may have gotten too much sun this weekend. Tested negative on a home Covid test.
