Good morning!
Somehow I got off my normal routines, and missed a couple of days. Everything has been fine, just busy. I hope that all is well with you guys.
We have been having some wild storms here but now I think we are going to start shifting into more of a hot and humid summer pattern. Highs in the low 90s next week.
I have a bunch of cleaning and mowing and chores to work through today. All pretty normal. I don't know how to escape that stuff. Connie and I did decide that I will take a week off in July, but we don't plan to go anywhere other than day trips. We also talked about calling in "one and done" handyman to do a couple of the projects that I have not gotten to, such as changing a faucet, and installing a ceiling fan.

Good morning gentlemen.
It's not raining!!! Should be a dry day, today, for a change. Looking at the extended forecast, though, there is still some rain and a lot of cool weather. Hard to believe that a year ago June brought us a heat wave that hit 114. The highs are 50 degrees lower, this year.
There are tasks I no longer relish doing, Steve, but I have no idea how to find a reliable "guy" to do them for me - at least not at a price I am willing to pay. I now have a couple old fluorescent light fixtures in the garage that I need to replace with brighter, LED units. The issue is that there is a 12-foot ceiling, so I need to build scaffolding to stand on. for safety.
Sassy came into heat the last couple days. We bought some doggy diapers for her to wear, so she can be with us in carpeted areas of the house in the evening and at night. She hated having that put on her. It was a two-person wrestling match. A video would have been hilarious.

Been busy helping with charity ride, did not go as well as we wanted but it was our first time putting on a ride.
Hopefully next week calmer.
We are headed into upper 90's with over 100 heat index coming week, very humid with small chance of rain Thursday.0
