    Good morning!

We are supposed to see highs near 100 today, and then we'll get a break back to the upper 80s. This heat wave has been brutal.

Collin has struggled, but he is hanging in there with his new job.

I am still fighting sleepiness and fatigue. I have a doctor appointment on July 1.

    Have a great day!

    Prayers for Collin continue.
Ibuprofen definitely helped but also aggravates acid reflux. Back to celebrex today. The Skyrizi Ambassador called yesterday to see how I was doing and she had to remind me that sometimes our heads write checks that our bodies can't cash. She is so annoying.
Cautiously optimistic on garden chances for slightly late harvest. I will have a better idea in a couple of weeks.
Did you find some good wood, Dave?
Running understaffed due to COVID or folks just taking personal days is becoming a problem everywhere. Our clinic is no different. Frustrating but is the new reality. DW and I are always sardonically joking about how the two oldest people at our practice always seem to show up for work, and that one of which (me) is having more serious health issues than anyone else in the clinic.

    Be OP ;-)

    Good morning gentlemen.

I cut several nice pieces of black cherry, before the chain on my saw seized up. I think it is a faulty chain safety lock. I'll look at it today. I need to unstack and resort my wood pile, too, to accommodate the new pieces. There won't be room, unless I can remove some old stuff from the bottom. Between that and reorganizing the garage, I have a full day. Then, this evening, the church choir has a meeting with an applicant to be the new music director.

Rita planted a couple Japanese eggplants, yesterday, and dug up a bunch of nice little potatoes while she was at it. Steamed, then served with butter, I love me some fresh garden potatoes. So much more flavor than store-bought.

Hoping Colin continues to deal with the heat.

Our temps should soar today - all the way up to 76. It will be nice to have average weather for the week. I plan to take a hike tomorrow.

    Good Morning

I am glad to hear Colin is trying to hang in there despite the tough conditions.

I didn't last long yesterday before I had to shut it down. I must be fighting a virus. But I slept thru the night downstairs in the recliner and got a good rest and seem to be moving past it. I will try to get moving again today. Triple digits today. I am heading out to water out back before it gets too hot. But otherwise just working on the house a bit.

Virtual hugs for Collin from me too. Hang in there best you can.
Nice Dave about the potatoes. I have a neighbor who should be digging a few from his huge potato plants. Nice weather here too. Maybe 80° today and 78° tomorrow. Could be hi 80s Fri and maybe 90s on Sat Sunday Definitely warming up for a bit.
Should be amazingly nice at the coast instead of usual lo 60s later this week when we go.

    Good Afternoon,
    Welcome to summer
Cooler here in FL than at home. Last year rained every day where we couldn’t go to beach, this year sunny every day till Sunday as we are driving home.
    Glad Collin is maturing,
How does one tell when potatoes are ready to dig?
Tomatoes vines loaded so hot very slow ripening
Hope you are feeling better soon
Generally work ethic is nowhere near previous generations
