    Good morning!

I am so very thankful that today is Friday! Whew! What a long week this has been.

We are expecting rain this morning, and then highs going into the 90s with high humidity. Ugh!

We had a guy come out and install a ceiling fan and a couple of faucets. I am thankful that I have a couple less projects. It has been so blasted hot, or raining. I have not been able to do any yard work. My garden is being over run with weeds, and I have not mowed in two weeks. We are expecting rain today, Sat, & Sun. I don't know about mowing again.

I am still feeling sleepy and fatigued, but I see the MD next Friday.

    Have a great day!

    Morning...

Will be fixing a hole I discovered in the outer layer of my canoe hull today. Legos dissolved in acetone plastered onto fibreglass cloth should do the trick. ("Grandpa, have you seen my red Legos?") Might have to also replace an outer wooden gunwale that seems to have turned into a mushroom garden. Canoe is 30 years old and was trash when I got it 14 years ago and fixed it up with new gunwales and seats.

DS's girlfriend still has COVID symptoms and is positive, for almost 2 weeks now. He's still negative, thank God. He's lost 20 lbs on WW, which is great news, another 15 to go. Looks good. He's doing online WW. I might think about rejoining.

    Have a good day.

Steve, there's one study, in India I think, where a hospital medical team gargled and used 1% povidone iodine nasal spray 3 times a day. Nobody got COVID while other teams in the same hospital did get it. Mouthwash with cetylpyridium chloride (Scope, ACT) is supposed to be effective as a gargle. I think Betadyne makes the nasal spray, or similar. Both are over the counter. Might help keep you safe while working with COVID staff.

    Good morning gentlemen.

Our spell of great weather continues, today, with a sunny 78 in the forecast. To celebrate, I'm going fishing. My DW laughs that I never catch anything. That is more due to the fished-out status of my favorite fishing spot than shortcomings in my strategies, I think. But I love spending time sitting by the lake reading a book.

    Good Morning

Dave, I just got off a prayer meeting with a couple on Vancouver Island. They are running about 10 degrees lower than you. I am so ready to move. We are cooling off to 93 today. Yesterday we had a fire on the ridgeline on the west of us and then another, larger one broke out on the west side of the valley. Thankfully when we are this hot it means the bay breezes are not blowing so the fires don't spread too quickly.

A/C died again yesterday. I am waiting for the service guy to call back. The compressor keeps running oioutside though. Not sure how to turn it off. The problem is in the cold box in the house which has shut itself off. I think the condensation drains auto shut off has failed. I haven't slept well in over a week. I am living on the first floor except for showering, am back on Tramadol and I am a joy and a delight right now to all who behold me. Thank you Lord for coffee
