Heading to the airport in a bit. Cecilia has dog sitting duty for the neighbors but I hope she finds something to do with her husband-free weekend. She doesn't like driving far from home or to unfamiliar areas, but that's usually where the fun is.0 -
Good morning BBB friends.
- It must be a holiday. I got to sleep in this morning. First time in a couple of weeks.
- Keep the pinky dry Skip.
- I think we made it through the scorching hot weather. Back to normal GA June temps which are hot enough but about 10° cooler that earlier this week.
- New hearing aids are awesome. Bluetooth connection to both the phone and TV.
- DW went with me to Augusta yesterday and we had lunch at the Augsburg Haus. A young man who works there came up to me and said I looked familiar. Turns out he was at Boys State last week. Small world.

Morning bbb
Our upstairs neighbors moved in late last night. They weren’t terribly noisy but knew they were there. Thankfully went to bed soon after they moved in.
No plans yet today. Lavender fest starts today so will probably see what that’s about.0 -

1 Hour drive into ro our 2.5 hr lake drive into central Wisconsin. My 3 step kids and dog are joining us Sat. A.M.
Tom is now pumping gas, the sign says $4.69. THE PUMP SAYS $4.49. As does receipt SHHHHH DONT TELL THEM! Someone messed up??? Or didnt change big sign lower.? Doubtful. LOL Maybe rewards card paid out??
Busy work day playing purchasing and accounting releasing new $270k sales order for unnamed oil giant. They all are spending money on facility updates that were nixed in 2019 2020 2021 due to covid... My Ship date is Jan 2023. How crazy is that, used to be 16weeks... I got 50% cash down Net60 from today. Thats even crazier lol. The owner loves it. Yeah.no. kidding dude. So glad they in FL arnt manufacturers of this order. They'd drop the ball. Keeping the work here in Wisconsin!
