Mornin'
Bill, hope your AC gets fixed quick. Can you get to a swimming hole to cool off?
Lee, did you get out in yer boat yet?
Dave, that hike sounded real nice.
We have cool 60º sunshine this morning but getting up to 90º today and tomorrow. Too hot to exercise, but not as hot as other parts of the country. I got up at 5:00 and went for a walk and will turn on my AC when I leave later, to keep the place reasonably cool.
Brought my canoe to a friend's garage and we plastered the hole with dissolved Legos and fibreglass. Left it in the midday sun and went for a paddle in his canoe, and when we got back the patch was almost hardened. Will sand it smooth today and paint it, if it's completely dry.
Have a good day everyone--stay cool and be OP!0 -
Good morning!
Bill, I hope that you got your A/C running again! That is rough stuff.
Mike, it sounds like you came up with an awesome fix for your canoe. Very clever! Thank you also for the great COVID advice.
I have not been able to get my kayak out again due to the heat. I am hoping to get it out maybe tomorrow? I have also just been too tired. My doctor visit is on Friday.
I think that there are a lot of chores and projects in my future today.
Have a great day!

Good morning gentlemen.
It's 6 a.m. and the grandkids are already up. I need to cook breakfast, I guess. Later I'll get out the Slip-N-Slide. It will be in the 80s, today and 90s on Sunday. Their parents are taking a friend on his firat backpacking trip.
I broke my fishing jinx, yesterday; caught my limit of trout. Not a nibble for three hours, then limited out in 90 minutes.0 -
Mornin' gents.
Warmish here. Boat hitting the water this afternoon...fresh today and maybe the salt tomorrow.
Hope your AC is running, Bill.
If there is no one to hear you scream "FISH ON" did it really happen?
Be OP ;-)0 -
Good Morning
Dave, nice job catching your limit.
No a/c till Monday afternoon. We should drop down to 95 today. We are doing what we can to cool the first floor off with fans and various windows and shade. We have a methodology now. I slept pretty well last night in the recliner with the fan. I changed from Tramadol to Norco earlier in the evening which seemed to help with sleep. I will drop off usage altogether as the back is calm again. Heather is coming home tonight. Nothing got done while she was away but I will likely pick up an extra fan to support our efforts. The 2nd floor was ugly last night. Thinking cool thoughts. I don't think she will want to sleep upstairs either, but if she does it is clean sheet Saturday.0
