WELCOME to all walkers!
It is time to start a another new monthly challenge! It is June, and it seems unbelievable that we are closing in on being halfway through this year. Summer is here which means there may be more opportunities for outdoor walking, or because of higher temperatures outdoors streaming workouts or DVDS in the AC just might be more suitable.
This group is open to any and all walkers. Many of us use Leslie Sansone as well as other favorite instructor's walking or workout DVDs, as well as those great walks or hikes outside on the trails or pathways that are available to us, or a walk in our neighborhood, or on the treadmill. All of these many options count toward our miles, steps, or minutes.
However you get your walk in, come on in and join us! Whenever you are posting what you have accomplished please remember to also share any strength training ποΈββοΈ or other types of workouts π§ββοΈ that you are doing. We all benefit greatly by learning from one another and getting new ideas.
We are a happy, supportive group, and I promise that joining this walk challenge will motivate, challenge, as well as inspire you!
The goals ππ that you choose are your own personal goals for this month.
If you find this group in the middle of the month it doesn't matter which day of the month that you join in. Just set your goals to reflect what you hope to accomplish during the remaining days of this month. It is never too late to join in , you are always welcome!
I know that we are always excited to see our long time faithful walking friends join us for yet another amazing month together, and we are certainly always awaiting the opportunity to welcome newcomers to this month's Walk Challenge!
And now... let us lace up those walking shoes π and get our water π§π₯€... and walk, walk, walk into sunny June π» !

Hey friends! Just popping in to say I'm averaging about 7-8 miles a day. Off strength for a few days as I pulled a muscle in my back taking boxes full of stuff to charity. I'm doing the same indoor walks as usual, won't bore y'all by posting the same old thing. If anyone wants to know, I will of course be happy to share.
No outdoor walking for me! It's been WAY too hot here, lots of excessive heat warnings and this coming week is looking worse than last week. :grumble:1 -
