Good morning!
Mike, I know that you might not see this, but have a great time on your camping trip! Stay safe.
Bill, holding you in prayer for your pain management.
It is still hotter than Hades, even hotter than Hotlanta here. It is just miserable outside. Yesterday evening the dew point was 77. We might get some storms this morning, but I think that they are all north of us in Iowa. I am very proud of Collin. He is hanging in there with his new job, and he is not complaining about the heat. A "dry" heat would be OK. It is the very high humidity that makes it so uncomfortable.
I'm staying very busy at work, but that's OK.
Have a great day!

Good morning gentlemen.
I am sure Mike is having fun. He is in his element.
Props to Collin.
I'm lucky that I seem to tolerate weather at the extremes. I spent 11 summers in Central Texas, Indiana or Maryland (hot and humid, all), and seven winters in Central Alaska (arctic cold) and did fine in all of it. I didn't love it all, mind you, but functioned just fine. I prefer mild. It rained some here, yesterday. It's cloudy now, but I hope it clears off later. I need to get the lawn mown.
We brought the grandkids home with us last night and will have them through tonight.0 -
Good Morning
Way to go Collin! I never thought that a warehouse job in summer heat would be the one he stuck with.
Dry heat is overrated. Once you get in the upper 90's it becomes increasingly oppressive, I am glad we are having amazingly moderate temps lately since we can't kick on the AC. Had a great day yesterday. I decided that much of my lethargy of late was more mental than physical so I just decided to push through and stay busy. By the late afternoon, I was feeling pretty good, my back had loosened up and a lot had got done. I still have to pace myself to protect my back but in the end, I think my re-retirement took some energy out of life and I never shifted back into my retirement mode. Up early to watch Wimbledon's Ladies Semis then it is back to work cleaning upstairs since it is cooler. I will never be short on things to do around here, especially if we want to move next summer.0 -
Good Afternoon,
Early morning breakfast with Emmaus group, then took oldest DGS for haircut, then stopped by hardware store for milorganite, recommended by good friend; hopefully will deter deer; glad Toad has a big trunk.
Very HOT and HUMID, even out riding it is HOT, we are generally from 3 - 5 degrees hotter than Atlanta and lately our humidity is higher. Don't expect a break till end September or early October.
Congrats to Collin!!!
Enjoy camping Mike,
And I agree most aliments are and can be improved with meditation and mental adjustment, learned much from pain clinic a few years ago; though some doctors thinks one needs to pay attention to pain.0 -
Afternoon gents.
I find that sprinkling with melorganite the areas you want to protect every 2 weeks does a good job.
Atta boy Collin!
Babe and Lucy had a blast on the boat today.
Be OP;-)
