Happy BIRTHDAY, SamIAm!!!
Rain rain rain. We need it but it’s a crappy soggy day in store.
Tucker crashed while watching Father Stu last night and still hasn’t moved.
DW and I off to see Maverick Too Gun 2 tonight. May try to get out this afternoon for some brewery time with Tucker somewhere. We will see.
Hopeful to host a friend from GA soon.

Good morning BBB fr5iends.
Retirement is different for everyone. I am glad I was able to retire at 60. On the other hand, we ran into a friend my age this week, whose wife just retired from her career as an attorney. He has no need of money, but is driving a school bus, just to keep busy. Busy is never a status I have trouble finding.
Washing the car this morning, before the sun burns through the clouds, then have some shopping to do, before spending some time in at my lathe.0 -
LOL! I'm confident I'd be that bus driver who the kids would call Mister Kranky!
In the military - while in the USAF Honor Guard - I shared bus duty with a few others and would often drive the bluebird blue bus to / from Arlington Cemetery from Bolling AFB. The guys who talked smack found out that my brake foot works as well as my gas foot
I always thought it would be a cool gig to be the postman....driving around delivering mail! Who doesn't like the postman!0 -

- My Braves beat up on Skip's Nats last night. Let's hope they do it again tonight. Chasing them nasty Mets.
- I've thought about a part-time job, but I just don't want to be tied down. DW is going through that now. I find plenty to keep me busy.

- I'm looking forward to the reports from Cuba. I hope Steph will have good acceptable internet access.

Morning all
Met up with the couple who was the sitters here before us. They are from England and come to Mesa most years for another sit nearby. They did this house one year and are great friends of our homeowners. They were interesting and hope to meet up again before they are off to their next adventure.
Today pest guy is coming to get the pack rat. Then it’s going to be 110+ so not sure what our activity is going to be. Small neighborhood bike ride I imagine.

DMIL can come up and down stairs provided we watch to keep her from falling
DW says I have too many parttime jobs, 3 yoga classes soon to be 5, Neighborhood Missions, Board of Equalization, plus different organizations I'm a part of. I only do things I enjoy.
Steph, will other sitter help you and Ron get foreign sits? that sounds like such an adventure.
