Good morning!
The dog woke me up a few minutes early this morning. That's OK.
We are still in the midst of summer heat and humidity. It is supposed to be 86 today, which they are calling a cold front. Back into the 90s tomorrow and every day in the long range forecast. I am off on staycation next week, and the heat indexes are forecast to be 100 or more through Wednesday of next week.
Each day, I am feeling just a little better. I still have some of the "sleepies", but a lot of the fatigue is starting to go away. Yippee!
I have NOT been making any progress on my weight loss. I have decided not to worry too much about that until I get on the other side of the fatigue. One thing at a time.
The owner of the company was in yesterday, and approved the mid-year bonuses. I'm not to prepare them, however, until after I return from vacation. Mine will be $20,000. I am so very thankful. Thus, the reason I can't retire yet. That money is going straight to the retirement savings account -- and to taxes.
Have a great day!0 -
Mornin' gents.
It will hit 85 today and that is warm enough for me.
Congrats on the bonus! And the dissolving fatigue.
I think my fatigue issues are improving as well with the Skyrizi.

Humidity fine here. Hit 96deg in PDX yesterday and about 94.5°F at my house. One more day above 90deg and then in the 80s for the next week. I finally finally got one ripe quite small cherry tomato last night. It looks like I will have some ripe "EARLY GIRL" tomatoes in about 5-7 days. The Brandywine tomatoes still look like a bust with flowers but no fruit yet.0

I have a lots of flowers and fruit on my plants, Bob. Sound like the heat has hurt your crop.0

Good morning gentlemen.
Glad you're feeling better Steve. You too, Lee.
It's always fascinating to me, how 100 miles makes such a difference. Portland, and the Willamette Valley to the south from there, are almost always 10 degrees warmer than Tumwater in the summer. We were 86 yesterday, 84 forecast for today, and high 70s for the next 10 days. Pretty fantastic, really.
Took Sassy for a 4-mile walk in the forest, yesterday. We would have gone farther, but she seemed to be getting pretty hot. I brought water for her but was going through it pretty fast. The natural occurring water, in that park, is all in beaver ponds, and I don't want to risk her getting a giardia infection.
Woodturning club meeting tonight.

Good Morning
It was a rough night here, sleepwise, upstairs. But today temps will drop back into the mid 80's and more importantly, the A/C guy is finally coming back with the new blower assembly which arrived yesterday. It will take quite a while to cool off the upstairs to its usual warm levels. We are all pretty tired and cranky today and I must of tossed and turned last night because my back is a mess, but I am glad that we will be able to sleep tonight.0
