LONNNNGGGG Day at work yesterday. Lots of "tongue biting." I long for the day I can speak my mind and walk out the door.

Hoping for some pool time. Caught a few hours late day yesterday but today is supposed to tip 100 with heat index.

Dropping Vette off for interior makeover (new carpets and restore seats). I should 100% have this back in time for the upcoming show on the 30th. Excited.

Lisa - enjoy the lake and family time! You all deserve the down time!

We have to start getting active with planning meals/logistics for our upcoming BBB soiree. Still have openings if anyone is interested.

Good morning

Back to dog sitting this week. It’s awesome cash but the early hours are ruff. Ha. I get to my first house before 6. They live 20 minutes out.

Well, Ruby Sue and Henry are excellent watch dogs and would most likely attack an intruder. How do I know this? At 1:30am all hell broke lose and the dogs went mad running down the hall and steps. Ds1 and his gf were just getting home from a very late night in Indy. I really had to yell to calm them. I’m impressed. That was the first time I laid eyes on ds since he got home late Sunday. Anyway, I mumbled something and went back to bed. The kids apologized. I wasn’t mad.

I bet the vette will look great. My bf and her husband got a brand new one a few months ago. It’s gorgeous. He got to pick out everything.

Kelly - do you have a "rate" for walk or do people just pay you?

Our dog walker that we use occasionally when we are out says "just pay me what you think" - I think I overpay - but she does a great walk and often sits and plays with Tucker a while - often still here when we get home (avoiding crate time and DMIL having to manage a rambunctious puppy)!

Nice day today, forecasted high 84F, but some rain this evening maybe.

Gonna go pick up a youth football helmet later, at rec center, for my lil neighbor buddy who is away on vacation. Flag football starts soon and equipment pick up is at 5pm. He really needs to try it on, but we're hoping medium fits... he can exchange hopefully if not.

Lee, I've not used minnows yet this season. They die so quick in the bucket it seems.

I peaked at a car dealer website too, way too expensive. I will keep my 2015 for awhile.

Best get signed on the work computer blahhh.

Well, our weather is just about perfect: 84 and sunny, today, and around 80 every day for the next couple of weeks. No rain, no storms, no drama, just nice. That's the Pacific Northwest in the summer.

I thought about hiking, today, but felt lazy. I might mow the lawn. Have plenty to do out in the shop. Woodturning club meeting tonight. Think I'll go fishing tomorrow.

I tell people how much to pay. It depends on how far away they live from me.

I’ve never used minnows. No way. It’d scare me trying to grab them. Worms are fine.
