Good morning!
Sam, praying that the surgery went well, and speedy recovery. I remember with Connie she found doing all of the drops to be irritating. You will be happy seeing better, and knowing that your eyes are healthier.
I don't know how I missed signing on yesterday.
We have had at least two inches of rain in the last couple of days. We have really needed it. The rain has also brought in cooler temperatures. I'm happy!
Lee, I'm glad that you are feeling better. In my case, the Wellbutrin has made all of the difference in the world, and I am feeling much better. I'm still to see any weight loss, but I certainly feel better.
Have a great day!0 -
Morning…
Still struggling along with my decluttering, but things are looking better and will get done by summer’s end. I got rid of an aquarium setup—the last occupant died while I was away camping. Part of the problem is my small place with too many hobbies: watercolor painting, ham radio, piano tuning, clock repair, camping, icefishing, etc.
Tomorrow I go to DD’s to dog-sit while they are away the next 3 days. I’ll finish tuning their piano while I’m there, but I think mostly relax around their garden and pool.
Warm muggy weather returns with thunderstorms today. Rivers are unbelievable low from lack of rain and heat: we really need the rain.
Sam, hope recovery goes well.0 -
Good morning gentlemen.
We hit the road successfully, yesterday. I am logging in from Astoria, Oregon. The weather at the coast was much better than forecast, yesterday: sunny and around 70. We'll see about today. It's really hot inland, and that often brings clouds and fog on the coast.
We spent time on a couple beaches on the Washington side yesterday, then crossed the Columbia and climbed the Astoria Column (164 steps). Quite a view from there, and they sell little balsawood gliders the kids flew off from the top. The breeze took them far out into the forest. Fun to watch. We'll work our way south today, to Newport.0 -
Good Moring.
Sight from right is soooooo much better and colors are so distinctive; all is not gray anymore; left eye scheduled for August 10th
HOT AND HUMID here and we really need rain
Glad you are feeling better Steve
Dave, enjoy grands as you travel along coast
Mike, sitting around pool sounds wonderful it's been too HOT here to be outside and now I'm not allowed in pool for over a month0 -
Great!! Glad to hear cataract surgery went well!!!
We enjoyed staying in Astoria ourselves. Have fun on the coast Dave!!
Heard tons of cars on the freeway headed toward the coast this morning.
Yesterday wasn't 100deg in pdx and about 94.5fdeg where we live. My Brandywine tomatoes are finally really growing fruit like crazy.

Good Morning
I am happy to hear the cataract surgery went so well.
There is not much going on here. I am just trying to get some housework done and continue to work through all our old records and get some relaxing in. I now have a bunch of banker boxes to fill with shredding. I am just focusing on making steady progress on things.0 -
Afternoon gents.
Good for you, Sam. Glad it went well.
Bob, great you are getting some brandywine fruit. The greek pro trainer I work with used seeds from heirloom tomatoes I have given him over the last two years and grew them early in a hot house and now they are producing beautiful fruit. He surprise me with a bunch of glorious tomatoes at training today.
Speaking of training, it was like we were in Georgia. The training area is near Bradley International Airport in the Connecticut River valley and it was nasty in spite of a more favorable forecast. Thankfully much cooler and breezier up in the Northwest Hills of CT where I reside.
Good to have you check in while you are traveling with grandkids, Dave. Sending those gliders into the forest sounds like an amazing experience.
You'll get there, Steve. Patience and persistence. Good news about the Welbutrin.
Mini pizzas on the smoker tonight.
Be OP ;-)
