Chilly here, 55°, only 72° forecasted high.

Shallow pool diving DGS with concussion is okay, thankfully—went to work yesterday. Not sure if he’s any smarter.

Tuned DD’s piano and it sounds pretty nice now. I’m gradually getting faster doing this. A little brassy sounding, perhaps— the worn hammer faces should be sanded round again so they ping the strings instead of smacking them.

Book club meeting tonight—outdoors in the secretary’s yard, my preference with COVID still afoot.

    Mornin' gents.

Temps have finally cooled. Dog training will be pleasant today.
Loved the phrase " career redirection " , Bill.
Agree with Sam on the harassment in the workplace seminars. How did you not laugh about two old ladies arguing over how much cleavage is appropriate? At 72, she should be able to robs banks if she want to.
I did that as a young man, Mike. Had a big goose egg and sore neck for a while. Lucky. Hope your DGS recovers quickly.
The lady diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer died last night. She was kinda of a bid deal at Sotheby's art auction house of New York and she was just a beautiful soul. Her husband is understandably lost.

    Be OP ;-)

    Good morning gentlemen.

I'm very sorry about your friend, Lee.

Hope you figure out what happened, Bill.

I was showing off for our then 4-year-old son in a motel pool in Baker City, Oregon and swam under water right into the side of the pool. I had a big lump and a bright red raspberry scrape right in the middle of my forehead. Embarrassing.

Grandkids spent the night, and we took them to Denney's for supper. I sadly overdid it there. I have been doing well at portion control, up until then. DW is making blueberry waffles for their breakfast. Two is my limit.

    Good morning!

Mike, I'm glad that DGS is OK.

Sam, sadly, we don't have many Denny's around here anymore. We have plenty of IHOPS and one Village Inn.

We are expecting two days of stupid hot weather today and tomorrow and then it is supposed to be in the 80s all week next week. We'll be making a run at 100 each day this weekend.

Hard to believe that preseason football is here. The Chiefs will thump on Chicago today. Being the first preseason game, Mahomes will likely not see much action today.

I have several indoor projects that I can work on today. Connie has also said that she wants to go to Lowe's today and look at carpet. Home improvement never ends.

    Have a great day!

    Good Morning

I imagine I did my share of stupid pool stuff but I must of lucked out. Still struggling with what ever is going on. I got my blood work done yesterday, went grocery shopping and had to rest quite a bit. Things get mentally foggy when I get so fatigued. We should have the anemia piece of this identified for
sure next week. Progress I suppose. I am rereading my low carb/hi fat stuff I was doing well with. Eating with a more healthy intention is one thing I can do… and need to after sliding for six months.
