    Good morning!

I'm wondering why I still get whiffs of skunk from my dog more than a month after she was sprayed. Ugh.

The boss is back today! I am also hoping that I get at least one or two of the ladies that were out last week with covid back today.

I did a lot of physical work in the yard this weekend. I am getting too old for that! I am feeling it today.

    Have a great day!

    G' Morning.

Forecast for today finally says rain all afternoon. Dry as the Sahara here. Sam, please send your 9 days of rain up here.

Heading to Cape Cod for DGS's birthday party tomorrow. Trying to find a campground to stay for a few days, but my favorite, the state park in Wellfleet, says it's short-staffed and only runs weekends.

Hiked 4.5 miles yesterday morning, and then paddled a river in the afternoon. Found a section of river that still has plenty of water, thanks to those beavers.

    Good morning gentlemen.

It's prescription time, again. I need to pick up meds at the Army hospital pharmacy. It's amazing how much I will go through to avoid paying the co-pay to get our prescriptions at a civilian pharmacy.

DDIL invited us over to their house for supper and an evening playing a board game, last night. Had a lot of fun - 9-year-old DGD beat the adults in the game of Catan.

    Good Morning,
Mike, old wise tell "not getting enough rain we were not paying preacher enough"
Having long waits shows inefficiently on government.
Steve, hope you help is well and back

Sam, the long waits at the Army pharmacy stem from a plan implemented during the last administration to increase efficiency (read - cut costs), by eliminating 15 percent of the staffing in military medicine. At the same time, someone sold DoD a new software package to maintain all medical records. The old software package worked great, but there was money to be made, so a whole new system was installed that doesn't work worth a hoot. To make up for these twin shortcomings, there is an effort to gradually push older military retirees out of the military medical system entirely. Sigh.

Amen Dave I have found a lot of "upgrades" to be worse not better in software.
Pleasant day temperature wise and today too. Nice ride in the wetlands today.

    Good Morning

We had a great day yesterday being out running errands and grabbing lunch. Even did a mall walk for some exercise. Today is laundry day and some minor home repairs before I do some decluttering. I am heading out to walk before it gets too hot. Not a terribly exciting day ahead.

Found a campground, a tents-only place in National Seashore forest area, only 20 minutes away from the family. I'll be gone till Saturday and won't be posting here. Hopefully I'll lose some pounds along the way...
