    I took advantage of the Summer of Lou to go to the Texas Military History Museum since Cecilia doesn't care for that kind of thing. I only had an hour, so I'll need to go back again to do a better job reading plaques.

    Our hike yesterday was a beast. I’m exhausted. Hoping I can talk Ron into a short bike ride then a nap.

    On a positive note he FINALLY caught the pack rat. Apparently he likes oatmeal not peanut butter.

    • It's Monday so I had breakfast with the Romeos.
    • Lots of military history in Texas. My Dad spent time at Fort Bliss, and I did a couple of months at Lackland AFB.
    • We've been blessed with a moderate August, rarely seeing 90°.
    • Should be a quiet day.

    Good morning

    I sold some equipment into Lackland AFB TX a few years ago.

    Ds1 lands here at noon, I need to fetch him from airport. Be so good to see him, its been months. I'm having my 2 brothers here for Mexican dinner tonight ...my middle brothers birthday is tomorrow, I think he's 63.
