Sacral iliac has been acting up this week. Annoying. I subluxated it doing heavy squats a few years back and it was one of the most painful injuries I have ever sustained. This is the first time it has really barked at me this hard and this long since the initial injury. Not sure how I aggravated it. Probably getting up and down off the floor with patients. Taking extra celebrex and the occasional tramadol to deal with it.
I try to avoid tramadol because it messes with the quality of my sleep. If taken too late in the afternoon, I spend the whole night in REM and I wake up exhausted.

    Be OP ;-)

    Good morning gentlemen.

Hope the pain eases up, Lee.

DW and I went to a movie last night - Top Gun: Maverick. Hadn't been to a movie in more than a year, I think. Odd being in a multiplex with so few people. There were five people in the theater where we were, and no one else in the entryways or restrooms when entering and leaving. Enjoyed the movie.

Cool, today, with a forecast high of 72. Sassy will get a good walk.

    Good morning!

Super glad that today is Friday. It is going to be a hot one with temps in the 90s.

I too enjoyed Top Gun - Maverick. I saw the original Top Gun in Tokyo with Japanese sub titles. It was weird watching a US Military Action movie while being in a different country. We had just been to Hiroshima a couple of days before seeing the movie. That also had a major impact on me. This was in the mid-1980s.

Lee, adding you to the prayer list for your pain. I hope it resolves itself quickly.

Dave, I never really thought about it, but on days that I go to work, Frankie just stays lying on the bedroom floor after I get dressed and prepare to head out the door for the day. Any other time, she is my shadow.

    Have a great day!

Waking up with pain lets us know we are still alive
Looks like the start of another beautiful day here, blue skies and starting in low 70's
DW gone to get her and DMIL haircuts, need to get out in yard and get stuff done while she is not here to fuss at me.
    Hope pain eases Lee

I have noticed the same thing Lee when I took some prescription narcotic drugs for my broken back (two crushed vertebrae) if I took them in the afternoon at certain times I would disrupt my sleep at night. Hope your sacroiliac pain gets better.
I hope there is more than just pain to let me know I am still alive. Hrmph!

Hi of 92 yesterday (hotter than Dave in tumwater I am sure) cooler today

    Good Morning

I am sorry to hear about the pain flare-up, Lee. Sometimes Tramadol can bother my sleep, sometimes not. Makes it more fun.

I restarted my Low Carb/Not too high fat program yesterday. I am playing phone tag with the hospital about getting reconnected with the program I was in. But I have the materials. I am off to the market to stock up on food for the family and for me so limit temptation. I seem to be fighting a slight cold which isn't helping but I started taking cold tablets and that is helping. Yesterday was not a great day, but I am feeling and moving better so today I will get going again.
