Welcome home Mike. Sorry about your former Doc. Do you think he retired due to some illness?
Although planted late, I have had a fair tomato harvest. Sweet 100 cherry tomato plant has taken over my sizeable raised bed.
I am wishing there was a video of Sassy playing on the slide.
How much longer do you have to be careful, Sam?
Got 31K steps this weekend. Pretty pooped both days. Needed extra celebrex. Feel pretty good this am. Encouraging.

    Be OP ;-)

Ts and Ps Mike for your former Dr and his family. Sorry for their loss. tomatoes don't like to bee too hot or too cold. The last week or tow we finally started getting some Brandywine tomatoes which are always the latest ones for us. Siletz which was developed for the PacNW have been exceptional starting around the first of August.
The farmer's markets and CSAs have been very late this year too but coming on strong now.

Glad you survived yor 31K steps Lee with some extra celebrex.

Suppose to be 90° today in pdx and maybe upper 80s in Tumwater where Dave lives or by tomorrow anyway.

    Good morning gentlemen.

Yeah, the heat is back, today. Forecast is for 87.

We are in cruise preparation mode. I need to lay out all the clothes I am taking, so Rita can plan her own wardrobe. Weather in Southeast Alaska can be a bit dicey in September (forecast for Juneau, next week, is 50 and rain). Rita has been asking my advice on what to wear for 35 years - and I always get it wrong.

DDIL did shoot video of Sassy and the slide, Lee. It's on my Facebook feed. Too bad she didn't get Sassy climbing the ladder.

    Good morning!

Late check-in. Taking a short break at work.

Dave, I did enjoy the video of Sassy. That looks like it was a lot of fun. I am sure that you will also have a great time on your cruise.

We are hoping that today is our last hot and humid day above 90. We are expecting more storms this afternoon/evening.

I am looking for a long, extended weekend coming up.

    Have a great day!

    Good Morning

Heather's work schedule shifts today so she goes in later. We are getting out for a walk in the cool morning weather so I can be back for Morning Prayer at 8. I had to get up extra early for a shower so I could put on a 14-day heart monitor which was a thrill. Another exciting day of cleaning up around the house and getting back into some sort of a rhythm of getting things done as my energy levels are returning.
