Good day of dog training yesterday, weather finally cooling off enough that the trainers weren't miserable and we didn't have to worry about the dogs overheating.
Is da Gunny in the house?
Dave, I can only imaging the "hard landing" of a chinook auto rotating down. Whirly birds have lots that can go wrong, but being able to auto rotate into a survivable controlled crash is definitely a perk.

Good morning BBB friends.
Suitcases are waiting by the door. A week of cruising in Alaska takes a lot more stuff than the same time in the desert Southwest. I'm used to traveling with just a carry-on bag. Now we have two large, heavy suitcases. DS and family will pick us up at 9 for the drive to Seattle.
The weather in Western Washington will be just about perfect, this week: highs in the mid-70s and sunny. Too bad we'll miss it. Should still be nice when we get home, though.

Crazy wind and rain overnight. Hope our bike route isn’t washed out.
Talked to sister yesterday, BIL is taking Scuba lessons and they plan to visit us in Cozumel. Bringing dad and GF too. Apparently they are still “arguing” overflights. My not well travelled dad wants to take the $300 flight that takes 18 hours. My sister who vacations often wants the $500 flight that is 5. Hope she wins.0 -

- Well, I guess I missed the goodbye to the SGM. Hopefully he enjoys his hint at Navy life.
- Waiting for a call back from the credit union. We'll see what kind of customer service they have.
- I can relate to both sides of the flight argument Steph, but age has me leaning towards spending the money and the shorter flight. 18 hours is a long time.
