Good morning!
Bill, holding you in prayer that you can get your health issues resolved and that you feel better.
I am feeling noticeably better this morning. I might even make it all day at work. I came home yesterday at 12:30.
The world lost a great leader yesterday in the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.
Have a great day!0 -
Mornin' gents.
Glad you are on the mend, Steve.
May the Queen RIP. She was good for England.
DW is headed to NYC for our friend's memorial that was diagnosed so late with lung lung cancer. I am holding down the fort at the practice.
Be OP ;-)

Mornin'
Somehow I missed checking in yesterday. Got my AC-dripping-water problem fixed and went to piano class. Walked back from piano lesson to garage, 2 miles in gorgeous, fall-like sunny weather. The garage bill included "removal of mouse nest".
Queen Elizabeth was a remarkable phenomenon. In a world of change that makes your head spin, she was a thread of continuity across more than half a century of political life. I am always struck by pictures of her with Truman, Eisenhower, etc, down to the latest one thru the turnstile.
Will check if today is good for a visit to new GS in Providence. The parents may still be recovering lost sleep.
Steve, feel better soon. Remembering your late son's fiancee in prayer today.0 -
Good Morning,
off to eye doctor0 -
Good Morning
I am glad you are on the mend Steve. Good luck at the eye doc, Sam. I always here cash register sounds when I think of eye docs.
Today is supposed to be the last day of the heat with a cheerful 102 and then we will drop down into the 80s for a long stretch. Glad it is ending. A couple of errands to run and then lots of stuff to take care of here. I have been watching a lot of tennis with the US Open going and the ability to stream yesterday's matches. Grand Slams always increase my butt time.0 -
Rip for Queen Elizabeth II. She was good for the world. A truly amazing person.
Good to see Dave report in from Victoria. Luv that city for sure.
Glad to hear you are dropping out of the 100s Bill.
I too have been watching the US Open and the first USA man to reach the Semi-finals since Andy Roddick.
Yup good luck with the eye doc Sam>
Stay cool and safe all.
There is some at least slight potential of some preventative power blackouts in the Portland OR area today. Expecting somewhat higher winds but not ridiculously strong. My daughter's DMIL is on the potential power outage list as she lives in the forested West Hills.0 -
Good morning gentlemen.
Just got home and decided to check in. I'll sit down later to read all the back posts.
Have to head out to rescue Sassy in a few minutes. Lawn mowing on the schedule for the afternoon - it's a jungle out there.0
