My Numbers:
SW: Starting weight before you lost anything.
CW: Current weight at the beginning of the challenge.
GW: Goal weight for the month (what you would like to weigh at the end of the monthly challenge) Try to keep it realistic and SAFE!
LTGW: Lifetime goal weight ( What you would like to weigh at the end of your weight loss journey)
Weigh-ins: What days you will weigh-in; for example, Fridays

I have a new timeframe to work towards. We're going to go on holiday for our 20th wedding anniversary to Bali end of February so I have 6 month-ish before I have to buy a new swim suit I've set myself a goal to get back to my wedding weight (97kg) before we fly but in my heart I'm determined to get under 90kg which is the lowest I remember ever weighing myself as an adult. I wanted to write it down so I wasn't hiding it, which is what I usually do, just in case I fail. There's no reason I can't achieve this unless I stop trying.

@Deni_R Wow 20 years, congratulations!! That's wonderful ^_^ And Bali sounds absolutely amazing! I know what you mean about writing it down and not hiding. In the past if a month is going badly I've stopped posting here but doing so even when I'm doing badly has actually helped me a lot You've got this!1

Yay good loss this week. I hit my next mini goal as well which means I've lost 20% of my inital starting weight! Feeling strong and motivated again, back to tracking daily and moving a bit more. We went out last night for an improv show and managed to avoid all the yummy street food vendors we passed on the way there. My sleep has been pretty poor still but I saw my doctor this week and I've got a short course of meds to try and kick my current bout of insomnia in the butt. It's funny how a short term goal like a holiday helps put things into focus again. I need to remember that next time I'm feeling blah.

August was a total bust. Gained weight for the first time since tracking. Not giving up. I am not where I want to be so I have to keep going. So far this month I am seeing about the same numbers as in August. Not quite sure what I need to change to get some real losing happening but I am going to figure it out.0 -

Really gets me down that I've been on this site on and off for 12 years now, and still I'm fighting the same fight, only it's got so much harder in the last year or two- I used to be about 244 at my worst, but now it's got way worse. Starting to feel the health implications of my weight and it's worrying me. I really lack motivation and just don't know how to get it.1 -

What the...well I'll take it. I had a couple of "controlled" binges (read nothing too bad in the house) and last night I had a high salt meal so was expecting this morning to not be a loss. I guess I've been sleeping better and during the day I've been very controlled with my food so the blow outs have meant less damage to the calories.
Means my September goal is definitely in sight! Just got to keep going.

@butterflyfaerie Yeah, I think we've all been there. I lost 30kg back in 2010 and put it all back on plus another 20kg. The mental aspect really can't be undervaluated. It's how my mindset has changed, I got some mental health help and it's crazy how different this time has felt. No emotional roller coaster. I'm still working on the mental health aspect but in my eyes, now, after feeling the difference, I think that's the key. At least for me. Good luck, we're all going to be here cheering for your through whatever you're goign through.
@Gnawcraft Ahh, at least it balanced out with no gain. Hope you enjoyed yourself either way. Hubby has been joining me recently on the weight loss journey and has stopped drinking beer (still drinks bourbon) and was shocked when he lost 1.5kg lol a carton of beer adds up calories wise. Hope this week goes better for you!2 -
