Steve, $900 is still a chunk of change, but it sounds like it could have been more if you hadn't got that one guy in to properly diagnose the problem.
I googled "marine layer". I guess its a California thang. Hope it continues for you, Bill.

Prayers for the COVID folks. Now DD says DSIL has it, but not too sick. Quarantined in their bedroom.
Well, I finally get to meet new DGS Charlie this afternoon. Driving to Providence after piano class.
A man called from my bank’s phone number yesterday saying my account was compromised—someone transferred $750 out, not me. After long legit sounding conversation I saw an email from bank that my password was changed. I called bank back and found that it wasn’t them and a new mobile device had been authorized to access the account — the whole thing was a scam. No money gone fortunately. Very unsettling.

Sounds like brutal weather has abated for everyone finally. 54° here this morning and pleasant sunshine.

Typing this on iPhone. Wouldn’t let me log in on my PC. I hate typing on my phone.
We got out test results back yesterday and Rita was positive. I was negative but will stay home anyway. This is the first time we have had Covid affect us directly. Rats. Rita feeling better but still coughing. I’m sleeping on the couch.0 -

Dave, I am glad to hear Rita is showing signs of improvement despite the test results. When Heather had it her symptoms had cleared before she got a clean test result.
Up early. The back is pretty stiff and sore but I got a short walk in with Heather and sat against an icepack during Morning Prayer. Just picking up a bit around the house and will get back to work on decluttering. I will make a batch of Hungarian Goulash and perhaps some biscuits for the family. Tomorrow I will head to the DMV to replace my title. Got a copy of my smog test yesterday.

If junking a vehicle why does it matter whether vehicle passes smog test?
Up at gym at 5 this morning, not to workout but to refresh on their computer and systems, manager going on vacation next week.
Believe you are lucky Steve with Connie hitting meter, at least leaks are taken care of but $900.00 does sound like a lot.
Dermatologist was not nice to me last month, insisting I do a skin peel on head and face, will do when cooler.

Connie spoke for MADD last night. That is always tiring for both of us.
Work is stupid crazy busy since my assistant quit without notice. Sigh.... We are better off parting ways.
I am still coughing and hacking from my covid. I am still VERY tired. I feel like I have gone backwards the last few days. Perhaps just too much going on, especially between work and the gas situation at home.
Dave, sorry for Rita's positive test. I hope she gets past it quickly and that it does not linger in her like it does with me. You know, I tested negative. My doctor basically said BS to that. I really did have covid again.
