Missed check-in yesterday. Paddled 5 hours with a friend on Webster Lake, first time there, although have ice fished it. 7.5 miles. Lake is mostly all very built up with a combination of cabins, cottages and mansions, with a few restaurants and boat launches. Hardly anyone on the water, but a nice sunny day and good exercise. Saw Waterfront Mary's bar & grill, a legendary dive from way back in the lake's heyday. Next canoe venture will be back with the moose and loons, thankyou.
DGS football today, vs. Yale. Tonight my book club meeting at a guy's house.
I have had skin spots looked at on and off. Always seborrheic keratosis, optional if wanting removed.
Now DD's family on Cape Cod has COVID... I wonder if back-to-school is why it's been popping up in family. Dave, I hope Rita is better quick, and Steve, please get well soon-- take the weekend off...0 -
Good Morning
For no apparent reason, I awoke at 4 am. We had a date night and got in late so who knows? We saw "See How They Run" at the Cinema Alehouse. The movie was quite entertaining and garnered some applause. We walked about Livermore in search of a coffee house. The one we found transforms in the evening to an overpriced cocktail/dessert place. We went in anyway. I behaved myself, my wife sampled the fare. Not much planned today except a walk and to finish straightening up since yesterday a bad back and knee day limited things. Some rain coming in this weekend. A big half inch but rain is September is always welcome and it brings nice cool weather.0 -

No plans for today
Hope all have a great day0 -
Good morning gentlemen.
Rita improves. She'll take an antibody test today to see how that goes. DS tested negative, yesterday.
Think I'll spend some time cleaning up the shop, this morning, then watch the Ducks play BYU, this afternoon. I'm a sunshine fan: if the game goes south, I bail out and do something else.
Sunny and cool, here in Tumwater. It feels very fall-like. The furnace kicked on this morning. We used to keep it turned off for as long as we could stand it. Now we have gone soft.0
