    Good morning!

I'm realizing that I have not checked in for a couple of days. I am feeling better but I am also still feeling the lingering effects of COVID. I just do not have my strength or energy back yet. I need to sit for a few minutes after simple chores like sweeping the carpets. Frankie and I walked just under 1/2 mile last night and that is about all I can do right now.

We didn't do much yesterday. I had taken my car to the Honda dealer to have a recall fixed. Then they tell me that they can't do the work because I had a full tank of gas. Too bad they didn't tell me BEFORE the appointment that they would have to drop the gas tank and it needed to be nearly empty. Sigh.... Now I get to do that again. Something about an impeller on the fuel pump that could cause the car to stall even at highway speeds. I don't need that!

I held my weight even this week. I have lost 7 pounds since trying to lose again.

Bill, hang in there on your pain management.

    Congratulations to Lucy!

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gentlemen.

Rita tested negative, yesterday. I think I will be back sleeping in our bed tonight. Following CDC guidelines, her quarantine will end tomorrow.

It's going to be beautiful, here, again, today. The long-range forecast shows temperatures in the 70s all the way into October. That's weird, but I'll take it.

Spent yesterday afternoon watching football - way to go Ducks! - and might do the same, today - Seahawks!

    Great job Lucy!

    Morning men…

Nice book club discussions last night.

Holy Cross trounced Yale yesterday, DGS carried the ball over 100 yards total, and I got to see some of the family. Stadium was crowded and the tailgate area, too, hoping I didn’t get exposed to COVID.

Patriots game this afternoon and church this evening.

Steve, good work with that 7 lbs. Congrats.

Sam, I read about skin peeling… sounds awful. Hang in there.

Glad Rita is doing better. Yup ducks played well yesterday. Some BYU friends of my son went to the game. My DD is a Uni of Oregon alum and we all root for the ducks.

    Hae a great day all.

    Good Morning

I am glad to here Rita is doing better. Heather was feeling poorly after our outing to collect acorn caps for a preschool project. She had a fever but tested negative. We have to check it all again today to see if she can go into school tomorrow per protocols. We are thinking positively, but staying put. My back seems to have a mind of its own.

Lee, congratulations on Lucy doing so well at the trials.
