Has anyone heard from Tom/Raine? Hoping they're okay!
Moreover, how is Ms Moody? Hoping you are on the mend and feeling better!
Any remnants impact you all, Dennis or Sam?
We are getting drenched up here in the DMV - but nothing devastating.
Off to look at new golf clubs later. Two rounds this past two weeks. Back is holding up well so I think its time to graduate and get some new clubs.

Yeah, worried about Raine and others I know from the Gulf Coast of Florida.
The drought is over! The Mariners clinched a spot in the post season last night. They are still the only team in the Major Leagues to never make it to a World Series. Maybe this is the year.
Sassy gets her staples and stitches removed this morning. She will be glad to get back to a normal life and so will we.
It's 48 degrees outside and the furnace is running. Should be 81this afternoon. That's a near record high and it is supposed to be over 80 for the next three days. Strange start to October. I'm not complaining.0 -
**UPDATE from Tom/Raine:
We are [all] good. Very limited cell service so communication is difficult.
Whole house generator is wonderful as long as we have gas. Our house and Tom’s shop stood strong through the 12 hours of 100 to 130 mph winds. The flooding in the street has receded, and our canal is slowly receding. Lots of debris, so we are on day three of cleanup. ~Raine3 -

Headed out for a hike soon. The trail system we use is pretty popular with mountain bikers so will probably do a short loop on a trail they don’t use much then just cut through the neighborhoods to get in some miles. I probably should start carrying more weight than just my water so my luggage doesn’t feel so heavy but will wait until we are in cooler colorado.

Great news from Raines camp
Did some brush cleanup and wood stacking while Tomn used his wood spilter.
Now for a boat ride.
Our for dinner later for ddil 's Oct bday.
A flag is flying today at the US Capital DC, in memory of my bil who passed 8.12.22. RIP, His 58th bday is today. The flag will be sent onto his big sister, an E9 + in Airforce, retired after 45yrs. She went in at 17.... I know she'll cherish it.
