Off to church soon, then to Lunenburg for DGS Danny's football game. He's 5 years old... I think it's flag football, not tackle.
Might try installing trailer wiring harness into my SUV this afternoon, if nothing else is happening. Instructions say to run a power wire to the battery under the car, exposed to weather, but I found a video showing how to run it under the door sills and through the firewall, which seems a much cleaner, better protected option. More time consuming, but not too difficult. Last year I ran a power wire to my ham radio in the glove compartment, so not completely new to me.
Another nice fall day dawning. Definitely want to get in a long walk or a hike somewhere.
Bill, baking for the joy of it, and baking to sell to people, two different things.

Good morning!
Connie and I headed out fairly early yesterday, and I didn't get on this group. We didn't do anything special, just several errands. We did have a nice lunch at Chipotle. We share a bowl.
I didn't do a lot of cleaning and chores yesterday, so I will be paying for that today.
Bill, you and your cooking just amaze me.
Mike, I took out all of the old wiring in my 1971 Chevy C10, and replaced it. The only spot where I had trouble was with the ground. It took me forever to figure out that the ground is behind the driver's tail light. Rust back there was not giving me a good ground. I didn't grind it enough then, and it is still giving me a hard time. When the headlights are on, the right turn signal does not work, and the brake lights are sketchy. I just have not taken the time to fix it yet. I hope that you have an easy time of it with your wire harness.
I still have a lingering cough from COVID, but I am starting to feel better. I am slowly adding more walking. I actually lost .2 pound this week. I am still up 2.2 pounds for the year.
Have a great day!0 -
Mornin' gents.
Did Tumwater break the 72 degree record? Sorry about the Mariners.
Yep, baking to order would be a different ballgame than baking for pleasure. You definitely have a gift in that department, Bill.
Ran the puppy in the puppy stake in a nearby field trial yesterday. Placed 4th, but I was very pleased with her progression in spite of the low placement.
Enjoy DGS's football game, Mike. 5 yr olds playing flag football. I'd watch that even if my grand kid wasn't playing.
Be OP ;-)

Good morning gentlemen.
I watched all 18 innings of yesterday's game. Quite a dual. Better luck next year. Hope the Yankees can get it done and force Game 5. (You should feel honored, Lee. In my 72 years, that's the first time I voiced support for the Yankees. My ancestors will forgive me.)
We broke the record high yesterday and will again today.
I made a big batch of chili yesterday, working between innings, then broke it into individual servings and put them in the freezer. Makers for easy suppers when we don't want to cook.0 -
Good Morning
I don't follow baseball anymore, but in the Bay Area, there is always a special joy when the dodger vermin lose. Sorry to hear of the Mariners falling. I had a phone appointment rescheduled with my Mentor up in Washington when the Mariners made it into the playoffs. Yesterday was a lazy day. Heather just wanted to relax. I messed around with music. Once a month our instructor tries to teach us the basics of being in a jam. My back was a bit sore afterward from tensing up especially as I tired. It has been a while since I played dulcimer and pennywhistle on the same day. It showed. I spent a lot of time organizing some of my music onto my IPad as well. My son who can cook broke open one of my better dessert cookbooks and made Ginger Molasses cookie dough which he will be baking today. Temptation will abound.0
