Good morning gentlemen.

Unusual autumn weather, to be sure. Last Sunday it was 87, tomorrow should be a high of 57.

I will be watching football today. Game Day is at my alma mater and the Ducks play the Bruins this afternoon. In between, I need to buy a pumpkin for the church pumpkin carving party tomorrow.

Good Morning All

We return to fall weather today as temps drop back into the low 70s. Regretfully I can’t do much walking at a pace or too far at present, but this is the time of year to be doing so. I am doing better and even slept 6 hrs thru the night till my knee woke me up. I am off pain meds and muscling thru on Tylenol ER with rest, ice and Tens. I do see the paradox of weight loss helping reduce pain in joints yet unnecessary eating being a emotional salve for pain. I failed miserable this past week to stare that one down. I had this under control till this last stretch. But it is the worst stretch I have had in a while. I know Heather wants to go see the film Amsterdam but I will wait till tomorrow in hopes things will calm down some more. I made hamburger steak with onion gravy with potatoes, an upscale Salisbury Steak. I skipped the potatoes, but it was delicious and will be added to the rotation. Tonight I plan on grilling some steaks that were on sale yesterday.
