Good morning!
I am taking the day off work today. Today would have been Jacob's 34th birthday. I want to be home for myself, and to help support Connie. This is a challenging day for us.
Connie and I talked about how much longer I should work. She is thinking that I can retire any time after I turn 65. That puts me down to 2.5 years rather than 4.5 years. I like that! I might work longer, but right now, I'm looking to retire when I can.
We are supposed to be getting rain today. We are so dry.

Been AWOL a couple of days; have been away, dog-sitting for DD while they are in PA for DGS's football game. They won, 7th win this year, undefeated so far. I got to test out the piano tilter I picked up on Craigslist last summer; it worked; lays the piano on its back and sets it back upright without much effort. I tinkered with some key adjustments on their piano -- 100+ years old -- and will go back to do an overhaul sometime.
Bill, prayers for your pain management challenges. Hang in there...
Lee, eye-witness to murder must've been a shocker! But I like your diet plan--have a drink and fall asleep so you don't eat anymore.... haha.
Rainy and 40's today. I got a big start on decluttering Saturday morning, when DD called and asked me to dog-sit. Will resume efforts today.

Good morning gentlemen.
Continued prayers, Steve.
Cool rainy day, here. That will cover most days for the next six months. This is Rita's day. We go wherever she wants, and I am just the driver.0 -
Good Morning
Temps have dropped quite a bit. I kicked the heat on for a while for the first time this season. I check in with the Nutrition program in a bit. This morning, my weight was actually down 1.5 for the month but I think in reality I am up a wee bit. I was up quite a bit from this 2-week double pain spike and lack of sleep, but have tried to refocus. Fasting today for blood work so that is probably the reason for the drop. We had fun yesterday. We skipped the movie and drove through the vineyards and just explored a bit and then walked slowly in downtown Livermore before stopping for some Thai food. It was quite relaxing and about all I could handle. Cool-weather continues with no complaints.0 -
We hold you in our hearts and prayers,
Steve.
I am back from sojourn to SoCal and will get caught up.0
