Good morning!
I let Tish go on Tuesday, Interviewed three candidates on Wednesday, and started Trisha yesterday. I am confident that we made a much better choice this time. Trisha seems to be much more mature, and yesterday was learning quickly. I did payroll for the entire company yesterday.
I am certainly looking forward to the weekend.
It is too dry in the atmosphere here for rain. But rain is nearby, and so my arthritis thinks that it is raining. I'm noticing more and more pain in my knees. I don't like this.
Bill, it is good to hear that you are getting some relief from the meds.
Sam, also including you and your health in prayer.
Have a great day!

Morning.
Got out for a nice loop hike yesterday, up and down some steep rocky hills, in a woodland reservation west of here. Heard flocks of geese honking, all flying south. It was a beautiful, sunny, fall day, but heavy frost this morning and winter feels like it's around the corner now. Am rereading "Paradise Below Zero" by Calvin Rustrum, to get psyched for cold weather.
Coffee is brewing...

Good Morning
Steve, I am glad you found a more promising hire so quickly. I hope Trisha works out and things can settle down.
Yesterday was a good day. The synvisc injection went off without a hitch. I just need to take it easy for the coming week. Of late, I am the master of taking it easy. Today I will walk slowly over to CVS for the new Covid booster. I had a rough night last night with an ugly early morning nerve pain session. After an hour or so of pain mindfulness practices I was able to doze off for a few hours. Another session got me up at 5 so I got up and came downstairs, turned the heat on and popped a Tramadol to see if it would help. I am hoping to bake some rolls for tonight’s shredded pork I pulled from the freezer.

Good morning gentlemen.
Sam, the peel thing sounds awful. Hope it heals quickly.
I have been going through some annoying pain in my hips, lately. It's tendonitis, not a joint issue. It was bad enough, yesterday, that Sassy and I cut our walk short (4 miles v. the usual 5). Hurts when I lay on my side - and I am a side sleeper. I popped 800 mg of ibuprofen before bed, last night, and that seemed to help.
I want to eat at Bill's house. He's always planning to cook something that sounds great.0 -
A beautiful mild completely dry fall day yesterday with blue skies and a high of 60 degrees. Got in a nice ride 1/2 way up to skyline on my bike.
Good luck with the synvisc shot Bill. I did pretty well using the Synvisc One shot which is a big dose and seems to last longer.
Glad you have a better new person in the office Steve.
Yup! heal up quickly Sam!!!
I hear ya Dave I get pains in my hips too. Not sure exactly what the issue is been mostly seems controllable, but I don't walk/hike as far as you.
Coldish and quite wet again today. Since rains started a week ago
Fri we have had at least some rain showers every dayt except yesterday. Sunday was dry until evening so I did mow the lawn Sunday. Our handyman/roof guy has had months to put some rain diverters over a couple of short eves on the roof. He said he was coming 10 days ago but slacked off and missed the last of the exte4nded dry spells. It isn't urgent as the rain drips off onto a roof below in an OK fashion.0
