Got pretty soaked a the trial, good thing I brought a dry shirt to change into afterwards.
The puppy, Miss Lucy, blew it up yesterday and took first place in the all age amateur. She beat some good dogs. Mostly luck, but I'll take it.

Sometimes being a couch potato and binging on Sean Connery films is what is good for ladies feeling poorly.
It is amazing how poly tubs (in this case a garden trailer-I have one too) will do that after experiencing extreme temperature changes over time. Wood rots, steel rusts, poly becomes brittle and shatters.
Sam is the best kind of philanthropist, the guy who actually shows up and does things for those in need.

My internal clock still hasn't adapted to standard time. Woke up at 3:15, for no reason. Well, it's 4:30, Sassy has already been out twice, and the coffee is brewed. Don't know what the day will bring.0 -

Last week we had summer weather. The next couple of days is Autumn weather, and later this week will be winter weather. We like change here.
I'm back to walking Frankie under the street lights after dinner now.

70’s again yesterday and a mild morning today to enjoy my coffee on the balcony. Watching squirrels gather and bury nuts, and birds flocking for the trip south is a nice way to start my day.
Congratulations to the pup on her ribbons, Lee. She must have a good trainer…
Going to DD’s this afternoon to figure out why their electric bill is $800/mo. We’ll start by one of us flipping breakers on and off while the other watches the meter. They do have electric heat but they mostly use a woodstove all winter. Only a 4 bedroom house with one teenager left at home.0 -

Another quiet, restful day yesterday. But it appears Heather is able to return to work today as her temp is down and the Covid test was negative. The weather forecast says we could get an inch or more of rain this evening. Thank you for sending some south.0
