Got up at 4 for the lunar eclipse and watched it for over an hour and a half. Very cool, skies were clear and the moon stayed eclipsed into dawn, disappearing like a ghost before sunrise.

Spent yesterday afternoon at DD's with walkie-talkies while flipping breakers as she ran from room to room trying to figure out which circuits were affected. Maybe half of the breakers were labeled correctly, some of the rest being a hodgepodge of outlets, lights and appliances scattered in odd locations. A few we still haven't figured out. Some rooms stayed lit no matter which breaker was off... a bit strange. Next step may be installing circuit monitors in the lines and tracking how much current is going where. She also wants to shut off the radiant heat breakers and strictly use the woodstove to see if that makes any difference.

Doing some laundry and paying bills today, and other odds and ends.

    Have a good day...

    Good morning gentlemen.

No view of the eclipse (even if I was up that early) here; overcast. Did have a bit last night when we could enjoy the beauti9ful full moon. A chilly 37, this morning. Expect our first frost tonight.

Sassy is giving me the stare. Not sure whether this means she wants to go outside, she wants to eat, or she wants to play. But I'd better respond.

Overcast here too and cold 32-34deg. Slight frost atop some wooden timbers of a wetland bridge and more tomorrow.

    Good Morning

We actually clouded up and had some rain, so our promised wonderful view of the eclipse didn't happen, but the rain finally did which is the greater blessing. It was only about half of the 1" or so that was forecasted but we will take it and the Sierras are continuing to get snow. I was under the weather yesterday, so I mostly rested, involuntarily napped, and kept the aches at bay. But today I feel fine so back at it with tutoring and errands. I am just happy to see rain. May it continue.

    Afternoon gents.

I was up to let the dogs out at 4:20 but was too sleepy and forgot about the eclipse. I went back to bed for an hour.
I would bet the radiant heat is the culprit energy wise.

    Be OP ;-)
