    Good morning!

It was too cloudy here to watch the eclipse.

Today is supposed to be in the upper 70s, and then winter like temps hit.

Work is starting to get me down. I have great help now, but I am still so very far behind. My boss is also not helping. He is very passive aggressive, and everyone, including myself are avoiding him because he has been so very grumpy. He is the president of the company, and I don't think he really likes his job. That makes it challenging to really get anything done. There are a lot of people just doing what they want to do because oversight is limited.

Connie is fighting a cold. She is not real sick, but she is not feeling good.

Bill, I'm glad that you are feeling better!

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gentlemen.

When I'm feeling down, Steve, I go for a walk. Get outside for an hour. Don't focus on the distance; spending time breathing fresh air, listening to the birds sing and the wind in the trees, feeling the sun or the rain on your face, is rejuvenating. That's not just my experience. There has been a lot of scientific research that shows the benefits of time out of doors.

Cold here, this morning, with our first frost of the season. It was 28 degrees when I took Sassy out to do her business. Pretty moon in the sky, though.

I have a follow-up, phone appointment with the audiologist this morning. I have a couple complaints to make about my hearing aids. The chief one being they don't stay as securely in my ears as I would like.

    G' Morning...

    Frost here this morning.

Steve, can you get your boss to bring in some temp accounting help from your CPA firm to catch up on closings? Seems like catching up, keeping up, breaking in new help (twice) is a bit much to expect.

Sam, have a nice time away.

Dave, ditto on time outdoors. Good luck with the hearing aids.

I'm still catching up on chores... this morning I washed out the thermos I used canoeing last Thursday, had a crop of mold growing in it. And back of my car has canoeing gear on top of hiking gear on top of piano tools on top of who knows what.

    Have a good one.

    Good Morning

Steve, I used to do 30 min walks during stressful work times, even when I was on the road. I found it rejuvenated both body and spirit and allowed me to reengage in a better place.

Good Luck Dave getting the hearing aids straightened out. I would think staying in the ear would be rather important.

I have my Carotid artery scan today. I was told it was the crucial test regarding my possible stroke event at the end of August, but the next opening was 10 weeks off. Assuming all goes well, I am hoping these various reports will convince my Pain Dr to change her mind about not doing any procedures for six months and will get things settled down. I see the Cardiologist in December. I am trying to figure out an alternative to the Low Carb plan I am struggling with these days. Being the only low carber in the house is hard and it takes a lot of energy to make things work. The Nutrition office asked me to think about having weight loss surgery, my Dr would love to put me on medication but I don't qualify. I see WW is going back to a weight loss focus, so that may be a better fit despite the price. It has been a not-so-good year health-wise. I need to get the weight off for my back especially. Any thoughts?
