Snow overnight didn't amount to but an inch, and now it's pouring rain this morning, so snow will be gone soon. Roads may still be icy in spots, I suppose. We have had many heavy downpours on and off since September, but somehow the area is still under a stage 1 drought because of the long, long dry spell we had over the summer.
Breakfast calling... I cracked me French press coffee maker. Making Starbucks instant I have left over from camping. Need to go shopping...
Have a good day everyone.0 -
Mornin' gents.
Dragging a bit today. Not sure why. Maybe the sibling family drama discussions going on both sides independently? The kids are better behaved.
Always good to have a backup coffee plan, Mike.
We got pretty much the same wintry mix and it should all go away today.
Be OP ;-)

Good morning gentlemen.
Well, you can have the wintery mix. We have perfect fall weather: frosty morning and sunny afternoon.
Rita had me out picking up leaves with the lawn mower, yesterday. Not my favorite job, anyway, and my hip bothered me quite a bit. I have an appointment with my primary care manager this afternoon. I am sure she will refer me to a specialty clinic and send me for x-rays. The x-rays will show nothing, and the specialty clinic won't have appointments until sometime in January. I'll continue to limp.0 -
Good Morning,
Happy Humping,
X-ray generally does not show soft tissue inflammation, need an MRI, that being said I believe yoga a couple times a week would help
I've gotten where I give no attention to drama whether family or friends
Coffee is very important to get my day going, a must have if folks are going to tolerate me0 -
Good Morning
Starbucks Instant? This coffee snob's heart is breaking. And no it is not better than nothing.
I enjoyed a somewhat decent night's sleep after a week and feel human again. Yesterday was one of those days. A flat tire on the way to my brain MRI, a difficult 1mi walk home from the tire shop and worse walking back, 2 tires we didn't plan on buying, 2 meals at McDonalds and a cup of gas station coffee, which is an act of desperation on my part, and a confusing conversation with my son who I apparently butt dialed. There was more but mostly I was very tired, very sore and kinda finding it funny at times. WI is today and its looking very good. But it is one week. I will try to continue to work my new system with a primary focus on the emotions of eating. I am giving my knee a break today. 2 one mile walks was a bit much, sadly to say. But last time it took a few months before Synvisc injections allowed for such things.0
